Nissan Nuvu is a concept designed to offer next generation car from Nissan with rear-mounted electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. The design of this concept car is quite unusual and small. For city use, the Nuvu’s performance is more than adequate. Across the all-glass roof are a dozen of small solar panels. Basically, natural, organic and recycled materials are used to make its cabin. The steering of the car is very direct for quickness and maneuverability in the city. No one will have any problem in crowded roads and limited parking slots with this tomorrow’s city car.

After design concept cars, here comes a designer helicopter. French fashion company Hermès has joined hands with Eurocopter, to create l’helicoptre par hermès, which would be a luxury helicopter. It was unveiled at the national business aviation association’s conference in Atlanta in 2007. The same was designed by Italian designer Gabriele Pezzini along with specialists from both houses. The basic idea was to design the same for a usual business man who can use the same for his travel. The base model is EC135 of eurocopter, which is lightweight and can be used for various purposes. So what are you waiting for just fly off!

This is not an ordinary building structure for residence but it has been specially designed for temporary disaster relief housing. This concept has been designed by New York’s O.E.M named as MERP’s (Mobile Emergency Relief Ports). Each and every disaster prone areas need this kind of concept for the safety of its people. These buildings are designed in a zigzag manner, keeping in mind all precautionary measures. There is parking space available in the ground floor of every building. This concept will soon go Live as MERP’s are pulling into position.

Vostok bathroom design from ROCA competition. Anything that comes out of the Yar Rassadin’s design idea of bathroom accessories will go back to the pre USSR era. The design overall gives a feeling of nostalgia as the design looks more like the USSR spaceships, which by the designer’s own confession is a tribute to their cosmic style. So the user can have a feel of weightlessness in a spaceship inspired bath tub. Interesting! Don’t you think so? Still the clean functional design does show up nice details. So all in all, it is an interesting concept.

The cell phone project ‘Interzone’ brings forward a new cell phone air quality sensor by Alistair Bramley. This concept aims to offer something that your iPhone does not have i.e. Sensor Planet. A Nokia Research Center has come up with this program on a large scale sensor networks. This project has sensor networks that will combine the physical and practical worlds through new methods of sensing. It will work in combination with a mobile phone to give you details about local air quality. So, get out of town and feel some fresh air with this amazing cell phone concept.
