The Public, West Bromwich, England is a new arts building designed by architect Will Alsop. As per the architect, the building is born out of the thought that for renewing a generation, architecture can act as a catalyst. It inspires new ideas from the creative users and in itself the building signifies the creators’ belief in art. It has five levels and the building caters to various creative heads to explore their creativity. It’s intended to be a center for people to take part in art projects, and also engaging in learning wide range of skills and subjects, with special emphasis being given to IT and digital arts.

City Center, a green development project coming up in Las Vegas, is the largest privately financed development in North America. It’s an $8 billion venture between MGM MIRAGE and Dubai World, the first building is scheduled to be opened at the end of 2009. On completion of the entire City Center project, it includes a resort casino, two non-gaming resort hotels, and almost 500,000 square foot retail and entertainment space and also will feature a $40 million public fine art program.

The EyeMove PC is probably a great news for computer geeks. EyeMove PC is a new approach to home entertainment and computer user interfaces. This PC concept has small oval-shaped with built in projection lens controlled by a multi-function wireless controller. Place it vertical on a wall, horizontal on a stand, on your desk and project your programs, movies, games anywhere you like. With the wireless controller you can forget the old mouse, your keyboard, joystick , you have it all in one with a touch screen wireless controller.

The new name in next generation concept phone is Onyx. Onyx is the result of partnership of Synaptics and industrial design studio Pilotfish. It is enabled through the clear capacitive sensing technology of Synaptics, thus illustrating what the future of mobile communications would be. It would be that of combining an intelligent and adaptive user interface, this with sleek industrial design and the next-generation user interaction design.

Nowadays the emphasis is being given to private vehicles for maneuvering in and around the city. Also with this increase in vehicles, the parking spaces are getting cramped up by the day. It is but obvious to have an amicable solution for the same. In comes Solid – the vehicle. Designed by Nikita Gutsalenko, currently pursuing fifth year in Product Design and Transport Design at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, Russia
The Solid vehicle does have the standard protection means, like safety-belts and airbags. It also has two special elements installed in front and in the back of the car. These elements provide additional maneuverability by turning around. They also are very strong in if a crash occurs as they take the damage on itself and thus saving the booth.
