We’re pretty sure that you are doing everything you can to save money, why not save space at the same time? Do you know that 90-95% of all cars normally just carry one person? It would be great if we can slim down our mode of transportation that is showing signs of becoming seriously obese. A sleek and light-weight vehicles have many advantages, such as better maneuverability, lower emissions, leaner production, and higher fuel economy. Motorcycle design with cabin is not something new, but MonoTracer was really jaw-dropping when the first time we saw it. If you take a look at it from side view, this motorcycle looks like inspired by the shape of egg and the result is a very sexy motorcycle. It is one thing to put such designs on paper and a whole different issue when it comes to translating that in to on-road performance. MonoTracer has minimal weight, skilful design and extremely low drag, this revolutionary new production vehicle offers superior drive performance coupled with greatly reduced space requirements and sensationally low CO2 exhaust emissions.

SkyTran is a concept for high-capacity and high-speed personal rapid transport developed by an American Company UniModal Transport Solutions. This SkyTran system is two-passenger vehicles, propelled and suspended by maglev system. These are laid out in a one mile by one mile networked grid throughout the city. A large number of small departure and exit portals are placed underneath the guideways at approximately every 400 metres or at every city block.

SkyTran has no fixed routes or timetables. Users can simply enter any departure portal, get into the first empty vehicle in the queue and select their destination. The vehicle then speeds up on the acceleration lane and enters the high-speed overhead guideway.

Great concept, this will definitely reduce traffic jam, but with only two passengers for each pod, what about families ? Using SkyTran they have to sit separately. Hopefully UniModal will come up with new model or updated version of the SkyTran pods.

The idea behind this Daihatsu car concept design was the monospace nature of this concept can gives the interior a spacious feeling, which is further enhanced by the large (plexi) glass windows and the small luggage area. In the big cities, space is luxury, so for leisure vehicles like this, space is important.
Because the intended use of the vehicle, luggage space has been used to house good audio equipment. The lack of a rear window makes it possible to put it even more optional equipment. The deep dashboard offers enough space for optional entertainment system. Small cameras are integrated in the wide graphic lines, increasing visibility and compromising for the lack of a rear window.
