The new concept electric boat designed by Tanguy Bihan, the Odonata is an electric boat which featured in the Nautical Trade Fair in Paris. The boat is 7 meters in length and has two primary ideas leading it in conceptualizing the same i.e. being modern while being ecology friendly. While it is elegant and contemporary and is run on electricity, the boat is completely noiseless while sailing and in one recharge of batteries it can run up to five hours at a stretch. Also it has plethora of gadgets like GPS multimedia player etc, it ensures that the user is not out of sync in the middle of waters!

The exterior design is aerodynamically strong as it is in all the sports cars, so one can say that it’s the designer among yacht. The best thing about these concept cars is that designers are focusing on developing eco-friendly and green gadgets with more and more technologies in them. This new car called “Peugeot Shoo” is also contributing something to the word “Green”. This car is all about solar glow and is designed in a triangle shape with solar roof that enable it to take energy from sun and later transform to run its electrical engine. Its sleek shape and floating parts are going to give enough space on the roads to breath. The solar panel roof somehow makes this car has futuristic look.

A lot of concept gadgets are coming up primarily to utilize the human senses. Of course the sense of touch is what is being utilized the maximum with many touch screen devices being developed. When almost every latest phone is touch screen can laptops be left behind? An Italian company V12 design has devised ‘Canova’ which is a dual LCD laptop, which is yes touch screen. Though the design is more than four years old, the company wants to take this a step further by introducing the second generation laptops of the same series. It is working on the device to support multi touch and also fit in the microphone to enable voice commands. They claim that the model should be in the market by 2010!
