The new concept electric boat designed by Tanguy Bihan, the Odonata is an electric boat which featured in the Nautical Trade Fair in Paris. The boat is 7 meters in length and has two primary ideas leading it in conceptualizing the same i.e. being modern while being ecology friendly. While it is elegant and contemporary and is run on electricity, the boat is completely noiseless while sailing and in one recharge of batteries it can run up to five hours at a stretch. Also it has plethora of gadgets like GPS multimedia player etc, it ensures that the user is not out of sync in the middle of waters!

Confused Direction, a young co-op design firm founded by Flo Florian and Sascha Akkerman, comes out with refreshing concepts and designs which can be termed revolutionary if not bizarre! The houseboat called Schwimmhaus or floating house in German is an eco-friendly house that looks chic design wise too. Still in its design phase, it is still unclear if the same will see commercial production, because if it does there will be many takers for this incredible floating beauty.
