The car industry realized that they need to pay more attention to the serious demand of green vehicles. And in 2008, I’m pretty sure that we’ll see plenty of new concepts and vehicles that will change the way we move around.
Loremo LS is based on the concept that by reducing weight, one can increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. Safety is not a problem, the company is confident that the steel cell construction method provides the vehicle with a solid rigidity and enough of a deformation area for it to be safe to drive around the city. Maxie Pantel has designed an eye-catching mobile phone concept. This design revolves around the charger unit. The eye-catching opening in the middle fulfills two functions: storing the phone and charging it. ETNA fits onto an adapter which is plugged directly into an electrical socket: the phone is charged via induction and an illuminated, colour-coded ring on the charger adapter shows the respective charging status. The mobile charger adapter is used to ?hang up? the phone, lending the mobile phone a permanent place in the apartment or office. With the help of the charger unit ETNA can easily be incorporated into daily tasks and routines. Hanging the mobile phone on the charger unit becomes a daily ritual, similar to hanging keys on a key hook.

Just the same as the first Pivo, its cabin rotates, eliminating the need for a reverse gear, though its in-wheel motors can propel it in any direction — even sideways. What’s new in the Pivo 2 is its in-car Robotic Agent, a voice-recognition interface (in English or Japanese) to a valet application that can engage in a range of communications from basic vehicle functions to the closest parking space. It looks like a cartoon car, but I really like the design.
