Hello Folks, I have received my X-Mini 2nd Generation portable speaker a couple of days earlier and have really amazed with what I got for as low as 15 pounds. Let me be a bit more elaborative…
Starting from the package I received, a cool sleek package with the heading “Audio Revolution in a Box”, which really enhances the attention. I have opened the package and yeah I got a bit disappointed since almost all the portable speakers come in a pair. Well I must say this feeling got away as soon as I plugged in the little monster with my iPod. But still, I wish I had 2 X-Mini 2nd Generation speakers to make better comparison with X-Mini Max. The RollTop is a flexible notebook concept that can be folded like a roll of paper allowing the user ultimate convenience of carrying and storing it even in a congested place. It features a 17” flat-screen OLED display when fully rolled out with the multi-touch facility that will offer the ease and functionality of that of an iPhone. Also, when required, it can be folded into a 13” smart tablet pc. Aside from the touch-screen controlling, it features full fledged keyboard like conventional notebooks with which convenient typing can be performed. When folded, this compact notebook takes the size of a water carrier and can easily be hanged over the shoulder with a hanging belt.

The E-Ball is a sphere shaped computer concept which is the smallest design among all the laptops and desktops have ever made. This PC concept features all the traditional elements like mouse, keyboard, large screen display, DVD recorder, etc, all in an innovative manner. E-Ball is designed to be placed on two stands, opens by simultaneously pressing and holding the two buttons located on each side. After opening the stand and turning ON the PC, pressing the detaching mouse button will allow you to detach the optical mouse from the PC body. This concept features a laser keyboard that can be activated by pressing the particular button.

Capca car concept is created for Peugeot Design Contest 2008: Imagine the Peugeot in the Worldwide Megalopolis of Tomorrow. Too bad, this car concept wasn’t accepted by Peugeot, but we still think that this is pretty cool car concept. What will city infrastructure and city transport, parking and fueling be like in the near future? Let’s take a look at your city from the height of a skyscraper, what will you see? There are green areas and water pools, round shape streets and austere simplicity of architecture, streams of hi-tech eco-vehicles and eye appealing blossoms of parked cars. You’d be glad to know that parking lots filled up with cars now produce oxygen so necessary for life. No more smog and polluted air, no more packed buses and fussy crowds with capca car concept.

Avery Holleman has developed a PC design that can turn out to be a very useful tool on your conference tables. Named as Napkin PC, the design resembles a Napkin holder, which combines multiple touch screen devices within a collaborative network. The digital pens which are a part of the device allow the users to draw on the touch screens what you would do with a pen on a napkin. As per the designer, the reason for creating the concept was to enable users to interact with any number of interfaces connected in the same network. Of course this is one napkin wherein one won’t feel embarrassed keeping notes. We already discussed some of Next Gen PC Design finalists, such as : Siafu PC Design, Zen PC, Yuno, Momenta Neck PC, The Cup, CLEF and TRVL, and the winner goes to Napkin PC Concept, congratulation Avery!
