This phone features four module interfaces; sound, sensor, vision and location, allowing the user to customize the phone according to their need and taste. Moreover, users can add quite a few numbers of additional modules to make the phone even more functional and attractive. The sleek black touchscreen offers different way of checking out the functions and a user-friendly operating environment. The phone is branded under the name of Samsung and is a great physical device that can develop and share environmental awareness through a built-in collaborative social network name “eco-map”.

Bees have an extraordinary odor perception and Pavlov is utilizing this characteristic of bees to train them with specific odor within minuets. The project of BEE’S demonstrates how we can co-habit with the natural biological system and implement their potential to boost our perceptive aptitudes. The main goal of this project involved with developing collaborative relations between technological and scientific research, design and beekeepers, and among others. To make the project usable and understandable for the people, they are producing significant adjustments. Besides, this object provides a diagnosis to detect general health via breath by bees.

What do you get when an entertainment major join hands with leaders in home appliances, software and hardware combined with a high end builder? What you get is a house full with innovations like the one recently unveiled by Disney, the Innoventions Dream Home in Anaheim, Calif. It is located in a place called Tomorrowland, and it promises to be a house of the future or you can say marketing of the future, since the construction was a collaborative effort between Disneyland, Microsoft, HP, Life|ware and home-builder Taylor Morrison. With gadgets like magic mirror that allows you to see how you look in various clothes, kitchen that recognizes ingredients and a multimedia interface to tell stories to children, all we can say is welcome to the future!

Avery Holleman has developed a PC design that can turn out to be a very useful tool on your conference tables. Named as Napkin PC, the design resembles a Napkin holder, which combines multiple touch screen devices within a collaborative network. The digital pens which are a part of the device allow the users to draw on the touch screens what you would do with a pen on a napkin. As per the designer, the reason for creating the concept was to enable users to interact with any number of interfaces connected in the same network. Of course this is one napkin wherein one won’t feel embarrassed keeping notes. We already discussed some of Next Gen PC Design finalists, such as : Siafu PC Design, Zen PC, Yuno, Momenta Neck PC, The Cup, CLEF and TRVL, and the winner goes to Napkin PC Concept, congratulation Avery!

It is enabled through the clear capacitive sensing technology of Synaptics, thus illustrating what the future of mobile communications would be.
