The mantra today for all the designers is go green as more and more products are being designed keeping in mind the E factor. Like The Go Rack designed by Indian designer Abhinav Dapke, it’s an OLED strip with a solar panel. The two aluminum members are connected like clothes rack and have a solar panel on its back which can be placed in the sunlight for charging. And the charging hours can be seen through the indicator placed on the edge of the cloth. Once the charging is achieved one can bring it indoors and can be placed it on its base and the functioning can be controlled by a regulator.

Are you tired of doing the same old domestic task every day? Then try out “Baguni”, a washing machine that integrates a detachable laundry basket cum washing drum. Everyone needs a basket in order to collect laundry then the laundry basket is poured into the washing machine. Now, here comes the role of ‘Baguni’ as this laundry basket can be easily placed inside the washing machine and it serves as the washing machine drum. Once the washing process is done, the clean laundry can be detached from the washing machine along with the drum or the basket. Jihyung says : “The average household uses a laundry basket to collect dirty clothes and then when full, empties it into the laundry. But why not take out a step? Just put in the laundry itself!”. The new aesthetically designed iron by Dongseok,Lee and Jihyung,Jung shall ensure that there are minimum creases when you iron. This uniquely transparent iron model named as B-IRON 725, allows the user to keep an eye on the clothes as one uses the same. Its soleplate is made with tempered glass, whose heat resistance is comparatively better than ordinary glass which means that it can easily cope itself to the changing temperatures. The overall design has been added with the geometrical criss-cross pattern across the iron with the Nichrome made electro-thermal wire. If one needs to have better ironing, just twist the handle for better results. Truly a mind blowing concept!

The smallest improvement to the highway freight industry will create a great impact. This highly efficient truck is achieved by the use of a diesel/electric hybrid setup, a converting sleeper cab, and its streamline design. The truck runs with high efficiency through the use of a combustion turbine coupled with an electrical generator. The generator charges the battery reservoir. The combustion turbine utilizes its thermal energy by the use of a steam generator throughout the cooling system, the steam generator also provides an additional amount of cooling, reducing the size of engine ventilation and overall body drag.
The converging sleeper cab sits like a conventional driving cab, but allows for more visibility. The driving cab rotates to allow for a better sleeping position, and reveals a storage compartment for personal storage and a mini dresser. While the cab is in the sleep position the drive pedals are locked out under the cab, due to the rotation, for safety. The seats fold down and together to form a comfortable memory foam mattress.

The iBasket will also send you a message on your computer once the cleaning is done.
