Refresh Your Clothes with Stratosphere

The Electrolux last year design competition challenged students to come up with appliance designs of the future and one such interesting design was the Stratosphere. Designed by Budapest based Hungarian student Attila Sáfrány, Stratosphere is a design of a clothes rack. This rack helps in storing the clothes if to be used again and helps to maintain hygiene as it sucks off all the germs and micro pollutants out of the clothes and these goes to the filter placed in the device and out come a clean cloth which can be used again whenever desired. All in all it’s a nice and clean concept.

Aventos Vehicle Concept for Mega Cities

Today all the concepts that’s been designed has environment as one of the focal points hence new technologies are innovated keeping in mind the future sustainability like electric motors with renewable energy etc. It is this desire that keeps pushing the manufacturers and automotive designers have been researching and designing newer and better cars. The new ‘Aventos’ concept is something that’s been designed on these lines. Smellfree Compost Bin : The Ultra Efficient Odorless Compost Bin Concept

It’s every home maker’s nightmare of trashing the trash but the new concept design trash can is some thing that should take care of these worries. Named as Ultra Efficient Odorless Compost Bin designed by Industrial designer Joe Brunton ensures that the waste material don’t stink inside the bin but the organic waste recycles itself by the use of carbon filter technology which dries up the decomposing waste while preventing the malodorous ammonia to enter kitchen. These filters are replaceable which need to be changed every six months thus ensuring the functionality of product as well as that of the process. A good practical thought for sure.

Honda FC Future Sports Car with V Flow Fuel Cell Technology

The new FC Sport fuel based car from Honda was recently displayed at the LA Auto Show is one traffic stopper. The designers have taken into their advantage the flexibility which is extended by the fuel cell powertrain as it is placed on the back of the driver. It’s a 3-seater with the styling of sports car major McLaren F1 vehicle, where in the driver is in the middle with passenger seats on side and back. The concept car is right now under study and testing to understand the full utility of the product. Though there may be a possibility of Honda releasing a full fledged version for commercial use.
