The new Copenhagen aquarium is expected to be a marvel in the contemporary water front architecture. It has been named as ‘The Blue Planet’ and is scheduled to be opened in 2013. It has been designed by Danish architects 3XN who had given their ‘Whirlpool’ concept wherein the whole concept was inspired by nature and sea. The location of the project is on the island of Amager near Copenhagen Airport and the airline passengers will have a complete aerial view of the structure.
