Refresh Your Clothes with Stratosphere

The Electrolux last year design competition challenged students to come up with appliance designs of the future and one such interesting design was the Stratosphere. Designed by Budapest based Hungarian student Attila Sáfrány, Stratosphere is a design of a clothes rack. This rack helps in storing the clothes if to be used again and helps to maintain hygiene as it sucks off all the germs and micro pollutants out of the clothes and these goes to the filter placed in the device and out come a clean cloth which can be used again whenever desired. All in all it’s a nice and clean concept.

Environmentaly Friendly BMW Hydrogen Salt Flat Racer Concept

This design is nothing less than a rocket with four wheels, ready to accelerate. BMW has come up with a hydrogen powered design which is racer based on the basis of reuse. This concept car was presented in 2008 LA Auto Show Design Challenge Competition. Ordinary materials like barbeque lids and old oil barrels are used as the components of Hydrogen Salt Flat Racer. BMW has tried its best to bring forward an environment friendly racer car. The wheels are gel-nylon for obligatory flex that allows tires to be airless and re-treaded. Overall, it is a nice design for all those who believe in using a unique concept car.

Deli Scale Concept by Josh Hopersberger

This deli scale concept was born when Josh needed to design a scale of any kind using zinc as the main material. He chose the deli scale because of it’s public visibility and possibility for mass appeal. This deli scale concept is easy to use for the deli employee while giving the customer a pleasant experience and the feel of being at a high end deli counter and possibly leaving with the thought of “I want one of those!”. No wonder Josh awarded First Prize in the InterZinc Challenge Competition for this deli scale concept.
