Scooters are known for speed. They as they say don’t waste any time to get you there. The young folks are in luck with the refurbished and well fine tuned scooters. This “linea sucree” type is long to accommodate every height. The rims are strong and long lasting, laced with firm but flexible rubber casings that literally meet the road. The new concept vehicle called ‘Ozone’ seems to revolutionize the way we commute. The vehicle works on hydrogen powered fuel cells and looks futuristic in every way possible. Also the thought and the concept seems to be fine, however the structure might make you feel uncomfortable in your seats. The body is encased between two giant wheels controlled by separate motors which are powered by fuel cells, though this two seater looks more like a design picked straight out of fantasy due to its semi transparent glass casing and controlled by joystick. The huge glass doors slide 360 degree into the symmetric metal body. It sure is one cool futuristic concept.

Butterfly is a compact mobile micro scooter for an efficient use in short distances (e.g. from the tram to the train station). The idea is to optimize the daily commuter way and thereby getting faster from A to B. While Butterfly is closed, he fits into any bag or rucksack. By pulling the steering-knob, Butterfly springs open in a second and is ready to ride. After usage, just push the two casings together and the folded plate disappears smoothly in-between them. Dirt and bulky parts are thereby elegantly provided inside the case. This way you can promptly put back Butterfly, without having any dirty in, or scratches on your bag.

Still remember about Honda robotic walking rehab? At that time, we didn’t have much detail information, but now Honda has made official statement regarding this robotic walking assist device. It’s great that Honda tries to extend its areas from cars and motorcycles, but so far we don’t jump in joy for their ASIMO Robot. Available in three sizes, the device uses brushless DC motors powered by lithium ion batteries that allow up to two hours of walking assistance per charge. Honda’s Fundamental Technology Research Center will be showcasing the device at the International Trade Fair on Barrier Free Equipments & Rehabilitation for the Elderly & the Disabled, which will be held at Intex Osaka, Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27, 2008.
Honda walking assist device is much more compact than similar device such as : rewalk exoskeleton. If this device is working perfectly, not just us, there are going to be a lot of people jump in joy for Honda’s breakthrough.

Combining two function into one smart device. The digital clock has some funky interface design, great choice for young people. When you turn around the clock, you’ll see that there is a chess set on the other side. The chess pieces each are individually hand lathed and stored in a neat casing which you can slot within the set.
