Designed by Haishan Deng, The Chameleon is an innovative concept truck that has segmented body which enable the truck to adjust its size to fit the container. The resilient soft tarpaulin shelled body is strong enough to protect its cargo but also absorbs impacts in case of accidents. As an added benefit fuel savings abound since the truck’s weight is slashed in half.

The design goal of Cirbin V13R is to remind you of Hotrod era, while at the same time also combine the modern style details. Born V13R, a three wheeled sports vehicle powered by 1250cc Harley-Davison engine, connected to a 5-speed sequential transmission. Beautiful fiberglass body is laid over a tubular steel chassis with triangulated side walls a front crash zone and twin rollover bars. The chassis comes as standard in a black finish, with chrome plating as an option.

Inside the Cirbin V13R’s cockpit the side-by-side seating is roomy enough for two average-size adults. A grab bar helps during entry and exit. The V13R also features adjustable seats including headrests and adjustable pedal positions. For the instrument panel the V13R uses the Harley-Davidson V-ROD’s electronic Instrument Cluster. This is positioned in the center of the dashboard and tilted slightly toward the driver.



Under the front section of the V13R is the cargo compartment. The waterproof cargo space is large enough to carry personal items for a weekend away. If more cargo space is required optional color-matched side cases can be fitted.

Story behind this suitcase bike from the designer Gosha Galitsky : Being a big bicycle enthusiast, it always bothered me to see how little cooperation exists between public transport and bicycles. It seems to be a perfect solution for commuting- an alliance between safe intercity transport (such as trains, buses and airplanes) and short-range non polluting bicycles which can zip you through the congested city like a breeze and park in your room or your cubicle at work.However, I only saw this harmony take place in some places in Europe (Italy is especially biker- friendly) and in some areas of the US, mostly on the west coast. All this in spite of rising awareness for environmental issues, growing congestion within city limits and an immense growth in the popularity of cycling for commuting as well as for sport. Crutches have been around since the Pharaohs ruled Egypt some 5,000 years ago. However, as a basic device of medical treatments, crutch design seldom changes. Most crutch design focus on the manufacture and price only and ignores other prospects as well. “S_UPPORT” is an innovative short-term using crutch. The purpose of this project is to develop an efficient plastic crutch, which is easy to manufacture, individualize and recycle.

The material of “S_UPPORT” is nano-nylon, a kind of plastic which could be recycled so many times without losing the strength. By using this material, “S_UPPORT” would be much more competitive than traditional metal crutches in both manufacture cost and individualization. Read the rest of this entry »
