Worrell is a design firm based on Minnesota has designed such a device named Gruve which is a personal energy-burning monitoring system based on Dr Jim Levine’s research. He discovered that it is possible to lose unnecessary weight by being active all through the day which will shut the metabolism down. Gruve is a tri-axial accelerometer that can indicate the progress of an individual against his or her pre-measured metabolism by monitoring the individual’s every movement all through the day.

This most modern minivan must come to the retailers of present days. These small vans are run by solar panels and so they emit no obnoxious gases and so these are very eco-friendly. It has a body that is easily changeable and the inside can be fitted with different detachable modules which can be used to store different items according to the changing need of the market. Various items like frozen deserts, hot snacks, greetings cards, magazines and souvenirs can be kept inside it, as the solar panel on the top of the van suffice for the electricity supply needed without any extra cost.

MERM (Modular Electronic Retail Minivan) facilitates a mobile retail market that could bring retail services and vibrancy to city areas that have been drained of intensity due to singular functional uses or irregular visitor flows. With its various functional modules and transformable car body, MERM makes optimum use of the space it occupies. The electric engine does not produce any air pollution and the solar panel on the roof provides power for all facilities on board.
With the help of a central information system, a group of mobile MERMs could greatly increase the efficiency of the retail process, and reduce unnecessary municipal input. So that MERM can match various sales purposes in different environments, the central container has been designed with changeable modules. These accommodate “Magazines and Souvenirs”, “Hot Food” and “Frozen Food”. Users can purchase several types of modules and choose a two-module combination (one for each side of MERM) that best fits their current sales plan. Modules are easy to replace by simply sliding them out from the car body.
When MERM is in driving mode, all the inner space is fully used for storing goods. When it’s switched to retail booth mode, the shelf can be easily unfolded for display outside the car, making adequate space for the vendor to stand inside. This feature minimizes the size of the car and thus reduces its energy consumption. Also, the compact size enables the user to drive in narrow urban streets.

The color is green to enhance its organic nature. The steppers at the bottom are also shaped like leaves with the similar designs. mPower Generation is a plant-shaped human-powered unit that produces electricity for immediate and future use. Users access their account using fingerprint recognition, stand on two pads at the base of the unit, and shift their weight from one pad to the other every ten seconds. The system, developed to take up the least amount of a user’s time and effort, can be adapted for the handicapped. A small portion of the electricity generated is used to power the interactive touch-screen at the top of the unit, which offers a broad range of informational services pre-customised by each user. The remaining majority of the electricity generated is sent to the city’s main power plant, to be used or stored. At their convenience, users receive payment for the electricity they generated by accessing their account at mPower Collection.
mPower Collection is a unit that, using the same fingerprint recognition technology, distributes payment and allows for account customisation to users of mPower Generation.

The new tea kettle by Juliet Symes brings the fun element to tea while admiring its aesthetics. This design marvel was designed with the idea of making tea as easy as 1 2 3 … without losing the ritual of it. The teapot has a spout through which the water is poured into the kettle when it is placed on top of the stove. The water comes to a boil before being taken off and adding the tea infuser in the spout. After infusing the tea leaves, the scoop comes with a holder and the tea pot can be used as a kettle. Truly a nice thought which will make tea making easy for the whole family!

The new cubic fitness by Décathlon is an apparatus which is made for all. The device as the name suggests is designed in the shape of a cube and in all one can do about 30 exercises all of which is inside this compact shaped box. Since it is shaped as a cube, it does not account for much space and one can place it any where in the house.
