Anders Gloslie, a Norwegian designer who is studying at IED Tornio currently in Italy, developed the FROST concept electric car. The stylish exterior design of this extraordinary car was enthused by and developed to suit arctic climate conditions. The asymmetrical bodywork of this car was influenced by formations of ice and features plenty of ‘cracks’ which cover the lighting systems. This motivating natural inspiration source also denotes that the idea takes of various shapes seen from different angles. The FROST concept layout mixes the proportions and the 2-seat design of a racing car with the rough potential of an off-road vehicle.

The Electrolux last year design competition challenged students to come up with appliance designs of the future and one such interesting design was the Stratosphere. Designed by Budapest based Hungarian student Attila Sáfrány, Stratosphere is a design of a clothes rack. This rack helps in storing the clothes if to be used again and helps to maintain hygiene as it sucks off all the germs and micro pollutants out of the clothes and these goes to the filter placed in the device and out come a clean cloth which can be used again whenever desired. All in all it’s a nice and clean concept.

This garbage disposing system is surely an appropriate alternative to the regular home sink in garbage which ensures that the food waste is composted rather than be sent down the drain. The device has been named as CompostAll, is placed under the sink and thereby it is a pretty convenient, discreet and odor free location for storing waste food with an alert light which indicates when the container is full and it also has easy carry and disposing of waste contents to the bigger container outside. There is not much change that one has to do when placing this device in the kitchen as everything stays the same except the wastage manner. Thus it’s an eco friendly way of saying you care!

This sports model is powered by a lithium ion battery which is lighter in weight but does not compromise on the performance. With its stunning looks, Mission One surely seems to be in the reckoning for the big league, and with an ability to run 150 miles in a single charge, it definitely will go places!
