The designer thinks that our current folding bike is unfriendly to women, thus, he decided to come up with bike design for female cyclist and use gravity to make folding process easier. It can be install onto a lamp post or a sign post which makes it within reach of everyone on the street. It’s a street furniture which will add value to existing infrastructure.

10. VSA – Vertical Solar Aircraft by Arman Abadi
Futuristic vertical solar aircraft which features delta wings and is able to reach the speed up to 250 to 300 km/h. The aircraft uses 3 engines which one of them is used for vertical take off and the other 2 are used to land on a runway.

T-Velo Concept : A Combination of A Bicycle and A Car by Adolfo Esquivel

T-Velo is a combination between a bicycle and a car, it is both a recreational and commuter transportation designed based on basic technology concept taken from cycling industry. This concept transportation has been designed to use leading-edge materials to strengthen versatility of its main structure. Its high-end technology delivers clean and reliable transportation solution without sacrificing the user’s comfort.

The steering method used for T-Velo involves the use of a simple mechanism of independent brakes like those used in tracked tanks, allowing control of the speed independently on each wheel. This mechanism also provides capability of inverting traction into opposite ways, allowing a 360 degree rotation for a more funny driving experience and a smooth maneuverability when dealing with tight spaces. This vehicle can also be used as a recreational amphibious transportation using paddles attached to its wheels which can be released or locked when need it.

DENTASSIST : Modular Mobile Dental Unit For People With No Access to Dental Care

DENTASSIST mobile dental unit has been designed for dental treatment of vulnerable people, mainly for people who have no access to the national health care or any medical care due to geographic or political background. The modular design was developed with the help of aid agencies and for global use, to enable a basic dental care.

The heart of the ensemble is the operating unit which is mounted directly on the treatment center and due to the integrated telescopic stand, the unit can be positioned at ergonomic height. The required power is supplied from the compressor and generator modules, as you can see, the operating unit is mounted directly on the supply modules of similar size & portability. These are operated outside of the treatment rooms because of the noise and exhaust harassment. Each module is equipped with a seat for patient to use and swivel casters for easy transport from one room to another. These modules offer storage for needed consumables and instruments.

Nissan Nuvu City Car Concept with Futuristic Dashboard

Nissan Nuvu is a concept designed to offer next generation car from Nissan with rear-mounted electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. The design of this concept car is quite unusual and small. For city use, the Nuvu’s performance is more than adequate. Across the all-glass roof are a dozen of small solar panels. Basically, natural, organic and recycled materials are used to make its cabin. Future Headquarters of Antwerp Port Authority by Zaha Hadid Architects

The new complex coming up for the new headquarters of Antwerp Port Authority in Antwerp, Belgium can be stated to be a masterpiece. Being designed by London based architects Zaha Hadid Architects, the new extension is expected to be completed in 2013 and will house about 500 staff members, with the existing building will be refurbished so that the public counters, meeting rooms and offices be in that place. The new building which shall be five stories high will consist of auditorium and restaurant and additional offices and meeting rooms. It will be a towering structure overlooking the city and will sure be a monument to look out for.
