Mantra is an automated life saving system concept aiming to tackle the beach safety issues that usually causes drowning casualties such as slow response time, inadequate surveillance, lack of lifeguard safety, and limitation of lifeguards as human. The Mantra concept contains small hairs with embedded electro sensors that detect distress and drowning people and swims up automatically to the spot. The victim them picked up carefully onto the built-in stretcher and it carries him or her on top of the water by using impellers and hydrofoils. There is always constant communication between the Mantra and beach lifeguards through which it carries the victim to a specified beach location where ambulance and medical team remains stand-by.

The Landscape Bathtub concept was envisioned to meet problem of limited resources of energy and space in near future. This project is designed to transform its shape to meet the requirements for different scenarios. For example, the landscape will be a shower deck during the fast morning, which will transform into a long relaxing bathtub during evening. The landscape is made of transformable thick silicon/rubber including an air pumping mechanism inside. Moreover, the concept offers vibro-massage feature based on turbulent pumping arrangement inside the rubber skin and an option to resize the bathing area as per the particular user’s need in order to optimize the usage of space and water.

Hello Folks, I have received my X-Mini 2nd Generation portable speaker a couple of days earlier and have really amazed with what I got for as low as 15 pounds. Let me be a bit more elaborative…
Starting from the package I received, a cool sleek package with the heading “Audio Revolution in a Box”, which really enhances the attention. I have opened the package and yeah I got a bit disappointed since almost all the portable speakers come in a pair. Well I must say this feeling got away as soon as I plugged in the little monster with my iPod. But still, I wish I had 2 X-Mini 2nd Generation speakers to make better comparison with X-Mini Max. It features a 17” flat-screen OLED display when fully rolled out with the multi-touch facility that will offer the ease and functionality of that of an iPhone. The superb design of OPEHN Lamp concept leaves the wires outside, giving the lamp an impression to be naked. The designer has used energy saving LED bulbs to make it even more efficient and the bulbs have been placed in a shameless manner too. However, the bulbs are decorated with petals which give the lamp an organic appearance with the wires to be some growing vines of a tree. The petals have been placed in different angles so that it can lighten in all directions equally. The round base is designed to be well balanced and keep the lamp stand still in even and uneven surfaces.
