As the designer says that the shape is something new as it breaks the conventional square design with an unconventional geometric design element. The device is named as ‘Soma’ which means touch. The design not just gives the device an elegant and dynamic look but also feels good to hold. The surface design flows into one another quite effortlessly and each seems to be complementing each other. The device is available in five different materials, each with its own sense of beauty.

The new design concept by Kim Hyun Joo will surely win a lot more brownie points both from the owners but from dogs as well. The chair termed as Happily Ever is a chair that is combined with a dog house which shall encourage bonding between dogs and owners through their sharing. As they say that sharing increases bonding, so this is a nice concept by the designer to address the problem of increase in abandoned dogs due to various reasons, thus with this design there can be stronger relationships growing between owners and pets. All one can say is this really is a very heart warming thought.

The new DVD parent child communicator designed by Tom Korzeniowski is surely a path breaking innovation. The design which was featured as a part of Carleton University School of Industrial design basically aimed at utilizing and exploring the current DVD technology and uses the same in consumer products. The device consists of two parts which communicate with each other via Bluetooth technology and in all captures the emotions of both the child and the parent during a given activity simultaneously, which can be viewed at a later time. A nice thought as the product captures the best of emotions i.e. developmental stage of the child and the effect on the parent on that moment… Picture Perfect!

The unique bar measure looks like a unique semi-circular pipe which is makes the job of measuring the shots pretty simple. The tinted green glass is used to manufacture this unique bar measure so that it looks aseptically pleasing to eyes. The tool is designed by Chetan Sorab and his innovation is surely praiseworthy.
