MORI folding bike aims to increase the rate of bike ridership especially in an urban environment for better sustainable future. Based on statistic in America, women comprise only 25% of bicycle riders. Can you see a gender gap here? This is due to the bicycle industry that focuses merely on existing cyclists and ignoring the needs of those non-riders, mostly women. In this case, female users could potentially become an expanding market for future bicycle industry.
Considered female user characteristics, the size of MORI must be small enough for user to carry and storage. Using 3-D printing technology, users can design their personal pattern, color, texture and even structure of battery case. For power system, combining human-powered and electromotor-powered modes together, users can chose different riding gesture and power mode based on their different requirements.
You can easily transform this bike from bicycle, scooter, trolley, to folding mode. MORI folding bike is your perfect daily companion, from going to work, shop, to ride home.

Designed for the year 2040 this vehicle solves a mayor problem for every city in the future, space. Only 30% longer than a standard bicycle, P.F.U.V (Personal Folding Urban Vehicle) has the ability of folding itself when not in use for reducing space to a minimum. When folded, this vehicle can be stacked in front of one another for parking.
Most people use a big car for transporting only themselves from point A to B, and cars spend most of the day parked, wasting a lot of space. Utilizing electric motors on each wheel, this vehicle reduces pollution to zero. This is why P.F.U.V transports only one person and folds itself for parking. The chassis is made out of high tech materials, metal ceramics, each hole in the structure is calculated for reducing weight to a maximum without sacrificing the chassis strength.

The name of VEU stands for Vehiculo Electrico Unipersonal or in English Individual Electric Vehicle. As you probably can guess, the main objective of this bike is to design a collapsible bike where you can carry almost anywhere. A bike can carry you from one point to another, like from your house to a bus stop, however, most of the time, you have to leave/park your bike somewhere if you’re going to get on the bus. Using VEU – individual electric vehicle, all you need to do is fold the bike and carry it with you.

Can you ignore the possibility of using privately owned vehicles within metropolitan areas getting prohibited all over the world by 2032? An industrial designer, Jacky Wu envisioned that scenario when car would be parked outside and the only accessible vehicle into the city would be personal bicycles. That’s why he designed the innovative Volkswagen Mimio vehicle with most of the interior containing storage space for folding bicycles. The shape of this small 3 meter long two-seater is an outcome of his extensive research. To ensure better stability, the rear wheels of the car are clipped in slots and contain two engines to get maximum performance. This two engine construction ensures power distribution only when needed. The rear part of the vehicle contains a dynamo that generates power through the rear drag wheels to ensure prolonged battery life.
