McLaren 650S Le Mans Edition to Celeberate Historic Victory of McLaren during Le Mans 24 Hours Race in 1995

McLaren 650S Le Mans Edition is how McLaren celebrates its historic 1995 Le Mans winning. It’s a historic win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995 because it wasn’t really expected since McLaren F1 GTR was just a road car competing against purposely built racers. That competition also was the first entry by McLaren in one of toughest races in the world. Imagine the surprise when McLaren took the position to finish 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 13th. To this day, this is the only auto manufacturer that wins the race at first attempt.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of that victory, therefore, McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has announced the release of limited edition which will only be available in 50 cars and all will be coupés.

2015 Chak Motors Molot : A Custom Futuristic Superbike From Modified Honda CBR 1000RR ABS

We just got a design submission from Igor Chak, this time, he designed a futuristic superbike, 2015 Chak Motors Molot. When it comes to choosing a motorcycle, there is not much choice on the market today, the safest is usually the biggest, most of the bikes that have any safety features are the touring bikes but when it comes to super sport you don’t really have much to compare.

Igor Chak offers a safer and smarter concept motorcycle. ABS has been around since the 70’s but it’s just recently been appearing on motorcycles. This project incorporates advanced technologies that don’t cost a fortune to make this motor bike lighter, stronger, and safer. The word Molot itself is a Russian word that means a sledge or a mallet type hammer, it perfectly describes aggressive, tough, and technologically advanced 1000cc superbike.

nThree Electric Vehicle Offers The Comfort of A Car with The Cost of An E-Bike

nThree electric vehicle aims to provide you with affordable, personal vehicle that features the comfort of a car yet with the cost of an e-bike. It sounds pretty ambitious and interesting, doesn’t it? Let’s read what these designers have to say about the project.

Following the recent electric revolution of lightweight vehicles around the world, the nThree is a new design, following the very successful nCycle e-bike concept. With the irreversible process of global economies turning towards renewable energy, the way we see and use the city has already changed and is set to do so dramatically in the next few years.

With our increased awareness and sensitivity towards energy consumption, courtesy among others of the most recent economic crisis, in the last 4-5 years, personal transportation has begun a slow but steady drift away from the model we have come to know in the past century. The 10s and hundreds of new e-bikes and electric cars like the Renault Twizy or Toyota i-Road have shown the way to a more personal and conscious approach. Our new concept builds on the characteristics and refines the strengths of these vehicles to bring electric power even closer to the mass market.

Small electric cars, tricycles and quadricycles all suffer from the same inherent drawback; they are meant to be cheap and affordable but they end up being expensive like real cars because they are BUILT like real cars. The mission on the nThree was to address these conceptual and design shortcomings and design an affordable, single-seat electric vehicle that would offer all (or most) of the comforts of an electric car at the cost of an e-bike.

To achieve the objectives, the nThree electric vehicle was built with a simplistic approach reminiscent on the nCycle. In first place, the vehicle was reduced to the most essential stable geometry of three wheels to reduce cost. Even though the latest small electrics are a great way to move around the urban areas, there is something about these offerings that does not look great at all: Price. Starting from about 7000 Euros and above these 1-2 seaters cost almost as much as a cheap standard car and more than many used ones in good condition.

NGR (Next Generation Racer) Futuristic Superbike For Abarth

NGR (Next Generation Racer) motorcycle is a design proposal for Abarth, an Italian racing car maker. Rob Thornham, the designer, says that this futuristic superbike has been designed using the next generation technology.

The Abarth NGR-01 uses a super lightweight design combined with electric drive through hubless technology to deliver blistering acceleration and performance whilst the aerodynamic body and strategically placed fins/ducts channel air to supply cooling to the concealed battery system. On the “tank” structure lies a recessed boost chamber which acts as a tactical performance surge and can be used by the rider only 3 times per race making for an exciting and unpredictable race series. Riders receive performance data via a helmet head-up display projected on their visor. The NGR-01 uses Abarth design cues and Italian flair on a futuristic setup to produce an aesthetically striking form as the superbike body is poised over the front wheels ready to explode off the line like a sprinter in the blocks.
