This will fail for the same reason the DeLorean Failed.

Ever tried to open one of those things in a parking lot? Bam-smash insurance payout. Lol. fail.

Why not a close slide-out mechanism that conforms to the cars body-shape, instead of this flash design which breaks several rules of ergonomics.
