David Hall, one of Park & Diamond co-founders, explains that this helmet design was inspired by personal experience. David’s sister, Rachel, became the victim of a hit-and-run accident while cycling through intersection of Park & Diamond, and she wasn’t wearing her helmet. Rachel is healthy now, but that accident has inspired David Hall and Jordan Klein to design a bike helmet that everyone will want to wear. This helmet offers highest level of protection and comfort.

After three years of intense research and development, Park & Diamond Helmet is ready. This helmet features an outer skin that looks like a baseball cap with multiple color options. It allows customer to personalize their helmet to reflect their tastes. Both outer and inner skins can be removed and hand-washed or you can replace it with a different skin. Its unique geometric design provides greater energy absorption and dissipation while allowing it to collapse down, the shell doesn’t bounce when it hits the surface, it’ll immediately absorb and dissipate energy, keep it away from rider’s head.

  1. Do you know that 99,9% of all the cyclists who died in an accident were wearing shoe’s?

Should not wearing shoes while cycling prevent cyclist from fatal injuries?

Crashhelmets for cyclists aren’t completely useless, but they will not safe cyclists lives, physics of riding/falling/catapulted cyclists during fall/crash speak againt it.

Helmets are in the wrong place and fixed to the wrong part of the bike/ cyclist to noticeably reduce the possibly devastating effects of cyclists in en crash/fall.
