Oxseagen designed by HWANG Tzy-Lung Stefan is a 55m luxury sailing yacht for worldwide cruising. It’s a concept yacht designed for the Young Designer Of the Year 2015 competition, it features sleek, simple, and modern lines to offer its passengers immersive experience of living on open water. The overall design reduces interior-exterior barrier with one volume design that creates a sport appearance without sacrificing the space and views.

Exploring the interior space, it seems that the theme is open space, it links with outdoor environment through large openings. It eliminates the need of artificial lights and decorations, those large windows blend the interior and exterior in harmony. Actually those large glass surfaces are the basic DNA of this project. The outdoor space is equipped with weather protected cockpit, there are a lot of seating with a dinning table for 10 guests, dual helmstations, a bar, and a Jacuzzi. The dual staircase connects the bar and cockpit with large protected sundeck covering tender garage.
