Orga Cart was a college assignment where students were tasked to come up with shopping transportation design.
“Orga” is a concept shopping cart for customers to transport their purchased products inside a shop, especially in the supermarket. It will create problems for customers to go shopping without a shopping trolley that allows us to hold more than we can physically carry. This project was conceived in response to a college assignment on shopping transportation. Its goal was to minimize the weight carried by the user in a bag that is more compact than that of a shopping cart, but still provides a comfortable ride on urban terrain. The ergonomics and aesthetics was also an important aspect in the development of the project. The carrier can be used for transporting up to 30 kg (66 lbs) in bags of any material, and is made of a polished aluminum structure, polyurethane wheels and a leather-perforated polyethylene grips.
