Nomadic Chair – Wear Your Chair Like A Backpack

Nomadic chair is a further development of Jorge Penadés´s graduation project. This chair is the new possibilities of what we call temporary furniture in responding to our needs in modern culture. Just in case you haven’t noticed, we have drastically reduced our comfort in order to enlarge our mobility to the max. This designer wants to encourage you to reconsider our ideas of contemporary furniture and give them new meanings in more ephemeral context.

You can carry nomadic chair literally anywhere with you in comfortable way, wearing it like a backpack. The structure of this chair doesn’t require any glue, nails, or screws, it works by connecting traditional wooden joinery which can be assembled and disassembled by hand in less than 2 minutes. In this way, you can easily from one place to another, highlighting dynamism as object’s inherent purpose.
