Nebu is a unique fabric sculptural lamp, a creation born from the desire to give you freedom to shape your lamp by interacting with different materials. The combination of light, fabric, and shadow that crosses the curves of the fabric can create unique and even artistic shapes. Both light and shadows are the protagonist of this project.
Designed by Leonardo Criolani, Nebu Lamp uses a shape just like a picture to emphasize the light and shadow effect. The materials consist of aluminum, wood, and plexiglass, and for this project, Leonardo chose to create two shapes: lamp and heart. The shape of lamp reminds him of an illumination system while the heart is a symbol of love, protection, and security. All these meaningful symbols are softly hidden behind a fabric, emitting subtle illumination to create calm and peaceful environment.
