  1. Quality unquestionable? Ok… Well for a start it has mechanical disc brakes which no matter how you look at it are a pile of crap, any mtb rider will second that. The forks look like they’re out the bargain bin at toys r us or halfords. Plus the chainsets and crank arms look incredibly cheep too. In all honesty all the parts look cheap and like they wouldn’t last more than a few months if that. If the American military is dumb enough to buy these than god help them.

Oh sorry because it has DISC BRAKES!!! and SUSPENSION!!! And 24 GEARS!!! We are meant to go WOW!!! kinda put this into context: many sports cars have five gears but… There’s a lot of cheap ones that have five gears too… And we know the difference between a cheap gearbox and a decent one. The philosophy is no different with bikes.

Crap product. And just a hint… Good business works with a win win…not a win and a loss and anyone who buys this piece of junk is going to realise they wasted their money when it falls apart a few weeks down the line.

  2. Get a grip Alex!

Cable discs have an advantage over hydraulics in that cable problems should be easier to fix where there are few amenities. Mediocre cable op brakes are better than hyd discs that are non-functioning because the hoses have pulled out.

They don't state at what price point the bike is being aimed, but we all know you can ride a cheaper bike hard; it just won't last very long.
Perhaps that's the reason why the military have been using these; BECAUSE they are cheap and in a sense throw-away?!
