Modern HEI Tea Set Made of Chinese YiXing Clay Offers Better Tea Tasting Experience

Inspired by ancient Chinese tea ceremony, HEI Tea Set is made of Chinese YiXing clay that allows you to enjoy the same ceremony in modern way. Combining Eastern and Western tea culture, DEFRONT redesigned the process of tea drinking and infusion by made it suitable to our modern life. This tea set uses the convenience of a tea bag without eliminating the value of the traditional tea ceremony. This set consists of a cup, a thermometer, and a teapot, these three pieces are ready to serve you a nice cup of tea using Zen like ritual just like the old days.

Made without glue, HEI could be assembled by few steps, first you need to install handle onto the thermometer, then add boiling water into teapot until the maximum line. Place thermometer into teapot and wait until the temperature drops to your requirements (different tea requires different temperature). You can add desire amount of loose tea into infuser and connect to the thermometer through magnet. Place all part back into the teapot and wait until your tea is ready.

Once it’s done, you can take off thermometer and place it upside down. There’s a disk that prevents water from running off. Now, you can enjoy your tea. By using Yixing Clay, an ancient Chinese material mined and applied hundreds years ago, you would enjoy better tasting tea experience due to a variety of mineral compositions of the clay. Those unglazed surfaces of YiXing Clay absorb traces of beverages, thus, creating a more complex flavor.
