Leaf Venations Inspired f.ly Table Lamp Features Unique Origami Lamp Shade

Inspired by Leaf venations (arrangement of veins in a leaf or an insect’s wing) f.ly Table Lamp design features origami shade. Leaf venations are not symmetric yet they are beautifully arranged to transport food and water. Usually they start aligned but along the way, they soon misalign and then re-align again, due to size of segments between the ramifications. By observing an Embaúba leaf, the designer has come up with an idea to transform the ramification pattern into an origami.
