Submitted by Corentin Bricout, KIPSTA Street Hockey is a concept project designed as personal project during his internship at Decathlon in 2017. Working under the brand KIPSTA and surrounded by sports lovers, Corentin decided to focus on field hockey with vision of the brand. The thing is, even though field hockey is a very popular sports in India, but in this country, cricket is like a religion. It wouldn’t be easy to develop this sport.
But keeping in mind to target market and its potential, this project uses KIPSTA’s way of thinking: play everywhere!
In order to make field hockey popular in India, let’s make this sport accessible to everyone. KIPSTA Street Hockey project by Corentin Bricout is designed in a way where this game can be played just about anywhere in the street. Hockey can be dangerous, one of the most important aspects is to make the practice safe so kids would not be scared of playing. Another aspect of the project is the transport of the equipment. It has to be compact, easy to transport and fast to install or uninstall on the field.
