Issei Suma has designed and developed Jikka, a unique teepee-shaped home complex. It’s an experimental idea of Japanese home complex to function as food delivery service for elderly people as well as nursing care for people with disabilities.
These buildings are actually designed for two ladies in their 60s, a social worker, and a cook. Inspired by teepee tents, this home complex offers unique aesthetics, it consists of 5 buildings located in a square formation. That wooden paneling creates warm and inviting environment, each home is designed with arched walls and pointed roofs.
