Hugsy Smart Care System, it’s the first baby-bonding product from Hugsy home care product line. At first, Hugsy created smart baby swaddle blanket that promotes parent’s nearness even after a baby is back in the crib. The project continued and it is now offered to provide both babies and toddlers with a way to share parent’s familiar scent and soothing heartbeat. We all know that all babies develop best when they feel safe and sound in their parent’s arms, that skin-to-skin cuddling sessions (Kangaroo Care) help to regulate their temperature, breathing, and heart rate. There are many benefits of Kangaroo Care such as improved brain development, improved bonding, reduced crying, reduced stress, deeper sleep, and of course better immunity.

Hugsy aims to make the benefits of parent’s embrace last longer, this blanket can provide comfort to babies even when parents are not nearby. This product is already being used in Dutch hospitals during clinical trials and in homes, well, the multiple design awards have spoken of Hugsy’s effectiveness.

Hugsy Smart Care System for babies consists of:

1. Hugsy Pouch – this is a snug Kangaroo Care swaddle for a newborn (0 to 4 months old), a multifunctional blanket with a cute hoodie that keeps baby warm. The organic textile absorbs parent’s specific and soothing scent when wearing it. After cuddling session, the pouch can be used as swaddle to transition your baby from chest to crib.

2. Hugsy Cuddle – this is a cuddle for older babies up to 4 years old. This cute cuddle comes with two detachable scent cloths. Wear it in your shirt before giving it to your child.

3. Hugsy Heartbeat – it’s an electronic device that records parent’s heartbeat using a fingertip sensor. The record can be played back to baby once they go back in the crib.
