We have come up with an innovative way to drain vegetables, beans, fruit, and tuna from cans without bulky colanders. It is a stylish fashion-forward utensil that will be your new friend in the kitchen.
You probably have tried to drain a can of beans, tuna, or vegetables using a large bulky colander, which is messy and inefficient, or tried to drain the liquid without a colander, and spilled half the contents in the sink. Even worse, you may have cut your hand trying to squeeze out the last bit of oil from a tuna can. With the GoCan Drainer, messy and awkward can draining is a thing of the past with our easy one-handed method that keeps the contents in the can, and requires little clean-up.
With the new GoCan Drainer we bring the strainer to the can. You have an elegant device that simply clips to your can, allows you to drain the liquid with one hand, and then simply remove the GoCan Drainer and pour your vegetables, fruit, beans, or tuna into a dish.
We currently have functional prototypes. With your help, we will raise funds to pay for the injection molds to produce the plastic parts for the GoCan Drainers, and produce the first production run with a minimal order.

Manufacturing any new housewares product is always challenging. However, with my years of design experience and working with manufacturers in turning product ideas into a reality, I know how to follow the process from concept to production. We have amazing prototypes, so we are off to a great start! The product is stylish in eye-catching colors, and does the job we set out to accomplish. We have selected a reliable manufacturer, and will have quality control during production, to ensure the GoCan Drainers are produced in a timely manner with the integrity of the design upheld. The GoCan Drainers will be manufactured and shipping out to our backers in early February, 2014.
