Futuristic HP Z VR Backpack PC Allows to Work with Virtual Reality Technology in Any Space

HP has released a futuristic HP Z VR Backpack PC. Unlike Holo 2.0 that stays as concept for now, you can unlock the full potential of VR soon. It could be world’s most powerful wearable VR Backpack PC of the year, it’s no toy.

No need to worry about getting tangled cords, this wearable PC is designed to be light and comfortable to wear, the swappable batteries allow you to work and demonstrate to people with VR in any space. You can choose to use VR head-mounted display (HMD) just like HTC Vive VE or you can go with HP Windows mixed reality headset.

It is highly possible to fit high performance PC into a lightweight backpack. The HP explains that this backpack would only weight at 10lbs or 4.6kgs, the design has passed MIL-STD 810G tests. Since this PC can be worn like a backpack, the harness is designed to be durable with easy fitting mesh to keep you comfortable.

HP Z VR Backpack PC is jam-packed with high performance technology t o enable it to interact and create complex simulations. It features Intel Core i7 vPro processor, NVIDIA Quadro P5200 16 GB, 32GB dual channel DDR4 system memory, 4 USB 3.0 ports (2 at the top and another 2 at the side), HDMA 2.0 port, Mini-DP 1.3 port, a HMD power jack, audio combo jack, and a 330W AC adapter power port.

This wearable PC is built for business and optimized for standard VR engines, the dock allows you to transition back and forth between high powered desktop for VR content design and wearable VR PC for validating your creation/design. HP aims to eliminate all interruptions to your VR experience which is usually caused by power cords or dead batteries. VR Backpack PC uses dual-battery system, allowing you to swap power cells on-the-fly.
