Futuristic Audi Shark Sports Car Concept Just Won Desire Design Competition

If you are a sports car fanatic, chances are that you had heard about this very famous and award winning sports car design – The Audi Shark. This sports car concept was designed by Kazim Doku and had just won the top price in the recently concluded 2008 Desire Design Competition in Italy by the Domus Academy. Are you ready for the future? The Audi Shark is a flying vehicle. A two-seater flying car was inspired by the designs of the motorcycle and the airplane combined. With sleek shark-look, the lights are made of transparent tubes, sporty seats and cockpit-like interior design.

  1. If this ever comes out it will be many years from now. I would estimate 2040 or later. People just aren't open to these designs today, which is sad.

  2. This is the coolest design for a car that I've seen in a while. What I would like to know is what means of propulsion is used to make the car fly. I would love to own one!

  3. Geez…I want to know what type of propulsion system this uses, otherwise they might as well be coming up with whatever concept they want without explanation. They can come up with a car that eats pizza in the future but without telling us why or how no one really cares. If this car really does work on ion propulsion that would be great but can we confirm this please and stop with the teaser?!?! Janet Jackson already did that at the superbowl.

  4. i'm a industrial designer, as everbody knows that this is conceptual car. dosen't real with that tecnology. but the main idea is giving shape for our new future products.
