Electric Supermoto Concept by Eyal Melnick

It’s good to hearing from Eyal Melnick again, he has submitted his latest motorcycle concept to Tuvie. A Supermoto bike, it’s a custom motor bike that combines an off-road motorcycle with road-racing wheels that you probably know as “supermotard” bike. This concept bike is perfect for tight technical sporty tracks especially when doing lower speed maneuvers, it’s better than sporty bikes, thus, making it an ideal urban sporty vehicle.

The main goal of this electric supermoto concept was to enter the niche and create something unique that carries the nature of a supermoto as well as urban rider. The main body of the bike along with its technical components are based on one iconic geometric shaped box, well, it’s totally non-automotive at first sight. The idea here was to come up with a new category for motorcycle based on its functionality in urban environment.

Equipped with top performance components, the overall mechanism creates caricature and dynamics of a sporty high edge road motorcycle. The main box is covered by 2 transparent injected plastic plates where user can easily open it to customize the graphics and color.

  1. Nice renderings. However I would recommend to checked ergonomics in real life (e.g. make a simple mock-up before investing a lot of work in refining CAD) – especially in the transition area between seat and (former) tank, a critical area for this category. This might have revealed that riding could be very uncomfortable.
