Einride T-pod Electric, Self-Driving Concept Truck Offers All-Electric Range of 124 Miles

After R-Truck, here’s another attempt to design our future truck, T-pod. Designed by Einride, this concept project is about an electric, self-driving truck that is remotely controlled by drivers. It’s an ambitious project but the company says that it is set for prototype testing in this year and then followed by international distribution. Aside from manufacturing T-pod, the company will also develop a remote driving system, charging stations, and required infrastructures to make the system would be come the first of its kind in remote controlled truck industry. The T-pod has 15 standard pallets cargo capacity with a maximum weight of 20 tons, the length is 23feet (7meters), its fully charged 200kWh battery capacity can go for up to 124 miles distance. This truck sounds pretty amazing, heh?
