Deep Space Settlers is the redesigned version of the most popular board games we’ve known, Settlers of Catan. Fuzzy Wobble and Amy Wang teamed up to rethink the game by incorporating new era and aesthetic of the game, they also implemented a number of key changes to the rules/gameplay. Using paper, acrylic, a printer, and a basic laser cutter, this game is the evolution of Sea Farrers Catan, but instead of exploring the sea, this game takes you to explore deep space. There are inverted tiles that can be flipped during exploration.
Deep Space Settlers board game features hexagon board with hexagon pieces. Players can create large boards without the need of a stadium size table like Sea Farers. There’s no sliding board, the perimeter pieces have grips. When you reach a trading port, your piece is elevated, in this way, other players can see who is owning which trading ports.
