Harmony and Acoustic Research Project or HARP is a weather-proof communal musical instrument specially designed for urban parks. Primary goal of this project was to harness the power of music as a universal language which is the most effective way to unite people. This circular innovative musical instrument has a 10 feet circle which encourages the act of interaction and creates a sense of closeness. Installation of this instrument was divided into 4 different quadrants, each with individual sound instruments, electric organ, piano, steel drum and chimes were the initial selection.

However, these sounds are exchangeable and can be adjusted to a range of instruments like digeridoos, sitars or even vocal samples. To coincide with the park’s environment, HARP’s sound output is restricted to 75 decibels, so that only the users and those passing nearby would be able to hear its music. The ultimate vision of HARP is to get it installed in every urban parks all over the world and then be remotely connected through satellite to allow international musical association among its users.

The Ocean Rescue is a rescue device that is designed to provide emergency support to those who have lost in the ocean. The idea was to offer the user vital support till they get rescued, supply of pure drinking water. Moreover, it is able to transmit a radio frequency signal to the rescue team about its exact location and can make colorful smoke during the day and emit light at night to get the attention of rescue team.

The innovative wind and solar powered hybrid street lamp concept can not only produce light by using renewable energy, also it’s a boost to an everyday object that can operate completely off-grid. This concept was derived from the effort of designers to create a more sustainable future that integrates a range of reusable energy technologies into everyday life objects. These lamps comprise a solar array connected with a wind turbine, and can produce up to 380W of power.

These wind/solar powered street lamps are fitted to locally made, usual galvanized steel poles and can be easily swapped with previous street lamps. The turbines can be either a horizontal axis wind turbine or a 2nd generation 300W vertical axis wind turbine. Two solar panels are mounted on the side of the pole that is capable of producing up to 80W of power.

Rolly Cook is a portable oven concept that can efficiently do this for you allowing more convenience and extra time to use for other purpose. This handy tool reduces the risk of burning your food in an innovative and well-designed way. It includes a central mechanism that spins two cylindrical containers on both sides. This continuous movement of the containers averts the risk of food burning.

The outsider container has a series of heating panels that can be adjusted easily for a less or more intense heat as required for a particular type of food. For lower temperature cooking, tow containers are added together with the help of a clump forming a shape of a binocular. When its time to cook something in higher temperature, only one container remains functional.
