LedMax LED Curing Light design features appealing aesthetics with exceptional performance. The ergonomic body is compact and the handle is comfortable to grip, it’s one of thinnest curing devices available in the market. There are 2 detachable stands that offer the user easy to use device. There are 2 different models: cordless and corded version, this flexibility allows LeMax to be charged on its charging stand and can be placed on outer stand when in use. Dentists use this device for polymerization of light cure resin based composites, the light intensity of LedMax can be adjusted and timer can be controlled, pretty powerful equipment with low power consumption.

SMART helmet is the world’s first smart cycling helmet which monitors your heart rate without using a chest strap. This safety gear features built-in heart rate sensor which provides real-time and accurate data, thank you to its lightweight microprocessor with advanced algorithm, sensor, accelerometer and full wireless communication capabilities.

The original sensor and algorithm was developed for jet fighter pilots and astronauts. The company tries to integrate the system onto a cycling helmet, thus, resulting a device that measures your heart rate under normal or extreme physiological conditions without having to force you to use chest straps. You can read the statistic in real-time using your mobile devices such as smartphones, sports watch, or computer. It’s been designed and built for intense activities in extreme environments, the result is pretty accurate compared to ECG chest belts in the current market. Therefore, it’s an ideal device for athletes in any cycling activities.

Heal Station for diabetics features several devices to maintain the health of people with diabetes. It’s a one stop solution for diabetic patient, the device is color coding for simple, fast and easy for better user experience. The software applications are capable of synchronizing your health information with hospital database. Each module of this system is self-contained which means, just like ink cartridges, you can charge each module as required. We really love the portability, this concept offers dependability of diabetes equipment, so simple and easy.

Heal Station for diabetics combines blood pressure, pulse, and blood sugar. The blood pressure module has drawer to keep a cuff which can be fitted around patient arm and engaged with a press of a button. User can slide open the top cover to the left and install a fresh lancet into the lancet port then slide the cover back into place. Insert the blood test strip into the strip port, gently hold the finger over lancet port and press the “Lancet” button to get the blood. To test the pulse, position both of your index fingers on the upper side of the module and place both thumbs on the indentions on top the station. Hold this position for about 10 seconds, and the test will be completed. The result can later be sent to healthcare provider for quick assessment.

E-Spatula Examination Device That Combines Spatula, Light, and Thermometer in One

Unique examination device that combines light, spatula and thermometer into one, it is called E-Spatula. The inspiration was obvious, spatula and thermometer are common tools used for basic examination in hospital, they are usually used to check the throat and patient’s temperature in a single procedure. During examination process, doctors or nurses use both traditional spatula and a light, this is troublesome, traditional thermometer also needs a long time to acquire patient’s body temperature.

This is where E-Spatula concept device comes in handy, it’s a new type of examination device that integrates those 3 devices into one. Both patient’s throat and temperature can be checked at the same time. The tip of this device features a single-use transparent shell which promises cleanliness. Simply press the spatula on the tongue to activate the light, there’s no need for extra hand for the operation. The detector at the tip informs you about the body temperature automatically via LED screen.

The shape and size of E-Spatula follows the principles of ergonomics, which means this device is comfortable for anyone to use while increasing the efficiency of checking a patient.

TouchWarm Concept Diagnostic Device for Children

Children are afraid of the doctor for many reasons, some of those reasons would the cold an strange medical equipment as well as environment. TouchWarm is a concept diagnostic device that adds unique interaction during the diagnosis process to eliminate the fear factor in children’s mind. Cold stethoscope doesn’t feel comfortable when it touches your skin, children feel the same way. This device features heating platform when children choose to press the button, it will warm the stethoscope. There are multiple light pattern to choose, such as: an egg, chicken egg hatching, a snail, chicken and butterfly, etc. By choosing this pattern, the stethoscope will also emit the same light pattern, pretty cool isn’t it?

Carrying wheelchair when traveling by car requires some extra space, but this folding wheel concept offers an easy way to travel with a wheelchair. You can fold away the wheel for easy storage, it will revolutionize the world of foldable wheelchairs, perhaps for the first time, wheelchair wheels can easily fit into a small car, airplane cabin, or trunk. We’ve seen folding wheel concept in a bicycle before, but this design seems like already has the working prototype. When packing a manual wheelchair, you can make as if the wheels have disappeared, you would have to deal with the chair only and place the wheels alongside any way you like.

Lenify Collapsible Emergency Stretcher by Danny Lin

Lenify is a collapsible emergency stretcher that eliminates the possibility of secondary injury to occur when lifting up the patient onto the stretcher. To solve this problem, the project divides the stretcher into three parts by the human proportion. It avoids lifting up a patient by sliding the parts beneath the human body. The challenge of this concept was to design a structure to make it easy to assemble in any situation. To achieve this goal, a unique handle structure has been incorporated inside, as you can see here, the final design combines the real function and protective form to provide patients a better way to transport from one place to another.

Our conventional neurological examination requires EEG to measure brain activity, this equipment contains all exams from the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Battery and transforms them into holographic display to test various parts of brain. Smart Chair Mobility Aid Features Lightweight Magnesium Frame

The design of Smart Chair was born out of simple design and innovative mechanism to remove the stigma of “medical device” from mobility aid. Minimalist design is applied to overall body and seat, but the seat is a bit modern with futuristic touch without sacrificing user safety. The exterior structure is constructed of lightweight magnesium frame, a material which is both light and strong thus drastically reducing vehicle’s weight. The design that enables the body and the seat to be separated along with reduced weight allow user to enjoy different experience which hasn’t been possible with conventional chair. It can be picked up and loaded into a car or hand carried.

User centered design approach and universal design allows user to drive Smart Chair easily. It can be maneuvered to move in tight spaces, the wheelbase extends outwards on an extension bar as the speed of the wheels increases, creating greater stability. To keep this vehicle visible during the night, it’s equipped with headlights and taillights.
