TAB is a dual dining table concept that can save your time and space by featuring different compartments for storing different office usable stuffs. Razy2, a Gdansk based design studio has envisioned this useful home office table where the hidden storage compartments can be revealed by simply pulling the particular section. You can store pens, papers or other small desk articles in different compartments which will allow you to find them out easily and when the compartments are closed, it becomes a usual dining table. The material that has been used to make the table is solid ash which has really made it durable and sturdy.

Demi Sisalan Hanging Table for Small Spaces

The Hanging Table concept has been designed to turn small indoor spaces into a more efficient place by allowing the user keeping it away from their way when it’s not in use. This table concept design is ideal for dining room or kitchen of little houses, RVs, yachts and offices. Square, sphere, or circle planned, and coated with high density foam, the aluminum framed lightweight table plate is hanged with an aluminum frame and one chrome finished leg. This periscope style leg has been formed with seven parts of hydraulic equipment, which has made it durable enough to hold the weight of the plate and do the lift and lose task.

The ZENDOME.20HE is a unique recreational spot concept enclosing a 20sqm and increasable up to 1000sqm of exclusive floor space covered with sensually arched roofs. The brilliant and creative characteristic of the organic space and advanced frame system has really made it an eye-catching and distinct structure. Moreover, several domes can be combined in inspirational groups. Powder-coated steel and PVC coated polyester fabrics are the main materials that have been used to form this great waterhome. Usually the dome comes in white color, however, it can be changed as per the design of individual taste.

Beautiful and Pleasure Light from CandleAmp

The CandleAmp concept has been designed to give a pleasurable light in a room glowing from two clean, replaceable and sustainable soy candles. It features a simple push lighting and extinguishing the flames allowing the users to eliminate the candle associated inconvenience and safety issues with the insulating cover and sturdy wooden base.

The inspiration of the project was to attract more and more people as candle users in a more functional and stylish manner. The outcome is a compact, lightweight and ultra-portable lamp that has the required coverings for safety, visual elegance for style and easy and functional method of working for convenience, in short, a great handy tool for household.

Opehn Lamp Design by Flavio García

The superb design of OPEHN Lamp concept leaves the wires outside, giving the lamp an impression to be naked. The designer has used energy saving LED bulbs to make it even more efficient and the bulbs have been placed in a shameless manner too. However, the bulbs are decorated with petals which give the lamp an organic appearance with the wires to be some growing vines of a tree. The petals have been placed in different angles so that it can lighten in all directions equally. The round base is designed to be well balanced and keep the lamp stand still in even and uneven surfaces.

The Aperitivo table concept offers a stylish and simple way to hold food and drink which will diminish the inconvenience of traditional square table when you are gathering with your friends and relatives in a party. The table is outlined as a tree with branches of tiny circles which will allow the user to place and remove drink glasses easily, while the table itself looks like a small party place decorated with various colorful drinks and food. The branches of the table are connected to the main stand individually which have made it even more stable and easy to use.

Nature : Modern and Innovative Ceramic Planter

Nature is an innovative ceramic planter that has the ability to grow a range of herbs and flowers. The design is inspired from the shapes and patterns found in nature, which can be revealed from its name. The concept comprises several openings like blossoms with various forms, and the plants are placed according to their root size, topmost opening is designed to make room for plants with deeper roots. The planter features a complex mold with six parts and seventeen post-molding cuts. All the pieces are carefully cast, finished by hand and glazed in Portland, Oregon. Drainage of the system is controlled by the three holes on the bottom. The planter is 18” tall and 22” wide, and is available in three colors, gray, white and yellow, and is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

According to the user’s need, it can be programmed dynamically to offer different lighting conditions. Also, the OLED technology has made the light able to change its color, intensity, directions and wandering shadows to make the indoor artificial lighting into a more natural one. Aside from switching it on through the main light switch, this unique and innovative development can be controlled via a full functional remote control with touch screen surface. The featured OLED technology has made it environment friendly and energy efficient.

Innovative Indoor Hydroponic Plant System

The Hydroponic Plant System is an innovative concept that offers the user a comprehensive gardening facility by implementing efficient and functional technology. It is actually two twisting metal tubes starting from the floor to the roof of the room, where plants can be placed in different arrangements, allowing maximum convenience for taking care of them by reaching them all at once easily. Moreover, this innovative plant arrangement will provide better options to accumulate lights for the plant, which is very much important for their existence.

Problem
To develop a plant system, for a circular house, based on the silver generation theme, that would bring a comfortable time for the couple together during cooking, with a healthy life concept behind.

Concept
A product that can help them at the kitchen, integrate the environment (kitchen at the middle of the circular house), providing a healthy life style with organic foods, making the cooking moment easy, simple and fun. A hydroponic indoor system witch the aim is to rescue the pleasure of growing and prepare our own food without working hard or spend so much time, exploring the shape of the DNA molecule, the grow of a new life. The product is made simple, two vertical metal tubes where the germinated seeds of the plants are placed into some small holes around the tubes. A net hold it till it starts to grow.There also a light system, with a mobile light focus that can be programed along the path where it moves, providing the right time of light for certain plant. The hydroponic process is based on the NFT hydroponic system, a active process where a solution with nutrients its bombed from a deposit to the culture channel. Part of the root of the plant its getting a constant water flux, while the other part is in direct contact with the humid air.

Justification
Sören and his wife have not so much time together, so when they are able to have a meal at home, his wife likes to prepare it herself, with calm and love. This rare moments that the couple have together are the main point that this project explores.

Materials and Fabrication Process
3 Metal tubes; 2 running from top to bottom of the kitchen, 1 that works like a path for the light. The tubes have a shape conformation, till it reaches the shape of the DNA. They have small connexions outside the house that makes the water flux works in a cycle, with a bomb to provide this. A small programed engine makes the movement of the light along the third tube, right on the middle of the structure.

This project was based on a briefing of the International Design Award (IDA2009).
