For the next 4 to 8 minutes, enjoy the soothing power of the best quality organic skin care and fragrances being delivered directly into your water stream and onto your skin. Now available with essential oils and SPA capsules, Skinjay will produce several capsules collections including:

Balneotherapy capsules: harnessing the known healing power of the sea salt and delivering it directly into your bathroom.
Algotherapy capsules: did you know that algae such as wrack, kelp and sea lettuce fresh contain phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, vitamins, plant hormone against aging, chlorophyll which is an antiseptic and detoxifying agent… ?
SPA capsules: for those of you equipped with state-of-the-art 43 nozzles rotating shower heads we will deliver tonic or relaxing ingredients in your SPA ‘à la maison’.
Kids capsules: because a pink bubble gum smelling shower or bath is so much FUN!

We’ve seen Pluck Yolk Extractor which allows you to separate the yolk from egg white effortlessly, now we’ve found another tool that gives you the same benefit. It’s actually a whisk with a twist. Separating yolk from egg white can be easy for Martha Stewart, but for me, I usually end up creating a mess in the kitchen. Cracking egg carefully and then pouring the yolk and egg white from one half shell to another, this is what I usually do. But this whisk concept seems making the process easy. This project integrates 2 functions in one, separating and stirring, a whisk with yolk separator, pretty smart idea, don’t you think?

Humming Bird Salad Dressing Set Was Inspired by Nature and Laboratory Equipment

Inspired by nature, Humming Bird Salad Dressing Set features beautiful, fluid, decorative design. Apparently the designer saw a great opportunity to combine nature and scientific devices based on his ongoing studies of natural forms and recent work with laboratory equipment. The result is awesome sculptural form that delivers both function and aesthetics. These dispensers aside from dispense oil and vinegar, it can also become a decorative tabletop. You can use bird form pipettes just like scientific instruments to draw some liquids with precise and delicate application.

Open Mirror by Digital Habit(s)

Open mirror is a unique mirror that you can use to hear music by connecting it to your music player or smartphone. Thanks to its advanced sensor based interface, you can control the music without touching the screen. When in stand-by position, the mirror features a full oval shape. The shape is divided in the lower part by a line of light that suggests the direction of the decomposition of the figure. The sliding movement reveals the functions of the product. The docking station comes out and a different light starts to illuminate the area where the sensors are active.

Open Mirror can be controlled by hand movements and let the user make basic interactions with the music or video player of compatible devices. Move your hand from right to left and vice versa and get forward and backward song control. Stay in the middle or right position and make the volume down or up. Stay on the left position and play or pause the music (see images on the left). Physical computing gives a new approach to the discipline of HCI (human computer interaction). People are more skilled in moving their bodies or hands in the space than grasping mouse or keyboards or touching displays. Natural gesture is a way of giving input that humans already know by their common experience.

The sensors detect human gestures and the software interprets and decodes their complexity, generating a consistent output through various actuators.

Salva Faucet Concept : Adjust The Temperature Without Wasting Water

Salva Faucet was born out of the idea to save water while adjusting water temperature. The designer explained to us that his inspiration came from the moment when we unconsciously left faucet running while adjusting the water temperature, at the same time, we’re wasting a lot of water. The knob looks like an exclamation mark when turned on, it also works as a reminder that you are leaving the water running. Using this faucet, you are forced to turn off the water in order to adjust the temperature because it would be really hard to turn the knob while still at “exclamation mark” mode.

Pluck Yolk Extractor by Mark Fusco

Separating yolk from the whites is easy as squeezing the silicone chamber of Pluck Yolk Extractor. It’s a smart little tool designed by Mark Fusco that allows you to easily get the yolk out of cracked egg. The top material is flexible textured silicone that you can press while the bottom material is plastic or you can say the chamber. Simply place your cracked egg inside Pluck and squeeze the top silicone to release the whites and release the silicone to suck the yolk back up. Cleaning is also easy breeze, thank you to its two-piece design.

Fusion Wooden Kitchen Knives Collection by Andrea Ponti

East and West. Industrial design and craftsmanship. Two cultures and two design languages usually far apart from one another blend in the common language of design and tell the story of a project that spans from research to the creation of innovative products for markets around the world. This design and cultural blend produced Fusion: two kitchen knives made of ebony and white maple. Handmade in Kyoto as a limited edition by Japanese artist/craftsman Issei Hanaoka, these knives are inspired by the traditional Japanese art of wood crafting and they have a minimalist design: extremely simple yet modern and universal.

Both knives feature an ergonomic handle for slip-resistant ultra-comfort grip. They are available in two sizes and two types of blade: serrated, ideal for bread, and non-serrated, ideal for cheese, fruit, and desserts. The seamless design allows for unparalleled cleanliness and easy care. Thanks to their ultra-fine edge, the knives are extremely sharp but also easy to sharpen. For the packaging, the traditional Japanese boxes “Kiribako” have been re-defined according to Italian design where shape is driven by purpose. Here the boxes enclose the products and protect them from humidity and the passing of time. Both models are available on demand.
