Peugeot Aureon Futuristic Car Features Innovative Design With Great Performance

I tried hard but couldn’t recall the name of the movie where I’ve seen an alien spaceship which resembles a lot with the body of the Peugeot Aureon concept car but I am sure some of the readers can.

Peugeot Aureon is an innovative electric car concept featuring the excellence of ergonomic car design for future transportation. It features hubless wheel with the electric motor hidden in the back, inside the rear wheel. This two-seater runs on three wheels, giving an impression of flowing lava with its florescent red tires. When both doors are opened upward, you can easily mistake it as a giant dragonfly, waiting to jump fly anytime. In fact, this car design was inspired by the body shape of an ant. The unique and innovative lighting including headlights, taillight and sleek, shiny body have heightened the cutting edge design of the car a lot. The compact shape and lightweight carbon fiber construction of the car have made it perfect for busy future streets. I am sure futuristic car enthusiasts can’t wait to ride this super car.

Peugeot BB1 Combines A Scooter and A Car as Future Transportation

The Peugeot BB1 concept is actually an excellent combination of a traditional Peugeot scooter along with a Peugeot car. The key objective of this project is to offer a car that is ideal for city living and driving on busy traffic. Even with this compact shape, this car can make room for 4 passengers including the driver as a result of efficient interior design. The roof structure can easily puzzle a viewer to be a solar panel or something like that. The innovative horn shaped steering wheel has clearly taken this car apart from other traditional wheel-shaped steering mechanism cars.

Peugeot+ Three Wheels Car Concept

With constant increase in the private cars and depleting fossil fuels, it is but obvious that the space on the road is reducing pretty fast. The designers are looking for solutions that work on alternate fuel while occupying lesser space. Designer David Vargas has designed a three wheel design for Peugeot Design, what he calls Peugeot. It’s a two-seater vehicle using smaller electric engine as compared to most cars of similar sizes, and the third wheel is added for better stability. The car is perfect for crowded parking lots and is easy to maneuver and the design has surely hit bull’s eye.

Peugeot Flux is Not Just Imagination

Still remember the post about peugeot flux concept ? Its not our imagination now, they showed the car concept at frankfurt motorshow. But why do I feel like the car doesn’t look as good as the original designer drew at the first place? Hm…probably it’s just me. See more pictures here …

The peugeot design contest theme was re-invent the ‘Drive of Your Life’, six letters sum up the philosophy of this fourth invitation to the creativity: P.L.E.A.S.E. !
P : Pleasurable (to drive)
L : Lively
E : Efficient
A : Accessible
S : Simple
E : Ecological

As explained by Mr. Mihai Panaitescu, 20, student of I.E.D. Turin major in Transportation Design the concept peugeot flux was to design a vehicle that pleases it’s occupants in every way. It’s versatility combined with it’s sportiness and the ability to use it in different environments are in my opinion some of the vehicle’s strong points.

Either as an explorer of sandy beaches, sweeping mountain roads, or simply commuting in the city, the Flux concept embodies a vehicle that is made to please. It’s dynamic shape and open air cockpit make it lively and fun to drive as the occupants are always in contact with their surroundings.

The name Flux was inspired by the continuous change and flow of our daily lives during work and play.The shape also represents this flow with transitions through hard and smooth lines, between straight and curved all of which are characteristics of Peugeot.A relatively small car (3500cm long by 1650cm wide), it runs on a slim hydrogen power plant hidden in the back along with the tank mounted under the front bonnet. The hood and side body panels are made from plastic, polyurethane for the seats and aluminum for the mechanical parts. The main components such as the chassis and head protection are metal. Made up of simple body work (basic intersected volumes) the car is easily produced and accessible to everyone but most of all, it’s fun to drive.

Adding to this, the car is also a gaming hub thanks to the integrated Xbox 360 so P.L.E.A.S.E. hop in!!!
