I’ve been enjoying driving from the moment I learned how to drive a car. I used to enjoy my daily morning drive to work when I was still an employee. Fresh air in the morning, not so crowded street, listening to soft music from the radio, a perfect 20 minutes alone. Due to rapid population growth, driving in the future might create more frustration than joy, especially in overcrowded cities. People will either use high-tech vehicles or public transport. The feeling of individual mobility, however, contributes a lot to the impression of freedom enjoyed by many motorists.

Created in cooperation with Audi AG, the Audi RH Concept carries Audi’s brand values. RH promotes enjoyable driving experience, a compact and lightweight transportation for the year of 2015. This car has been designed to carry only 2 passengers in a very narrow space (3.2 meters long). The interior features minimalist design. The driver seat is located in the middle of the vehicle and the second seat for the passenger is located behind. This increases the feeling of narrowness, which strongly contributes to the driving experience. As you can see the overall design was inspired by a lightweight aeroplane in both styling and construction.

Audi A0 QS Features Stunning Aesthetics and Great Performance

The Audi A0 QS, Q stands for four-wheel drive and S for sports, has been specially designed for athletes and rich people to enhance their active lifestyles. This small and dynamic sports car is equipped with electric motor and a hydrogen engine that make the car entirely hybrid. Additionally, it features a special rotation system of the wheels with an analogy of the three-wheeled trike, making the wheels able to bend without rotation along the vertical axis. Rubber fabric has been used to make the doors, which greatly enhances the design and makes it possible to transform into transparent materials according to the rider’s need. Length of the compact car is 3400 mm, giving the users an ultimate driving convenience on busy urban roads and when parking.

Audi eSpira and Audi eOra for Future Generations

Audi has envisioned two vehicles for the future generations who will born into a complete digital environment with autonomy far away from today’s vision.

Audi eSpira: The Aspiration – This is the most uncompromised form of Audi, acts as an extension of the driver’s body. It utilizes next generation automobile control logic to transform the driver’s every movements and gestures into driving command.

Audi eOra: The Essence – This is an extremely efficient and dynamic sport vehicle that will be a dream of every young and adventurous individual in future. It uses the same control logic of eSpira and can carve the roadscape like a downhill skier with great accuracy.

Audi R25 Prototype

The new concept car R25 by Audi is the latest in its lineup of race cars. The features are quite innovative and the same have never been featured in any of the prototypes like high velocity banks and tunnels, a feature that allows the car to race in inverted position which helps it overtake other aerodynamic race cars. The car has been designed to perform in new racing conditions and will sure be a pioneer in revolutionizing the conceptual cars being designed for racing in the days to come.

Audi O Green Car Concept

The Audi O green car concept designed by Czech based designer Ondrej Jirec combines a stylish and sports car with a powerful audio system. Though the exterior uses the usual Audi styling, especially the grill which is neatly placed between the headlights; the glass windows in the doors are extending to the bottom adding to the overall design of the vehicle. The designer says that inspiration includes the previous Audi model, i-pod and music. It features an audio system, bluetooth and internet connectivity and a built in 650 GB hard drive. So be it a short or long drive you are never out of music with Audi O car.

Audi Auto Union Type-D Concept Car by Lukas Vanek

Check out this amazing race car, a creation of Lukas Vanek who is a young designer from the Czech Republic. This concept of 2008 Auto Union Type-D is influenced by a design which is nearly 70 years old and is designed from two different materials i.e. carbon fibre and metal skin. The structural support is provided by carbon fibre and the authentic look is given by the metal skin. The car is powered by the 6.5 litre twelve-cylinder engine producing 478 KW horsepower. This nonstop concept can offer you the top speed of 186 mph. Once you sit in this car, you will get the modern feel and excitement. So, get ready to zoom in this large wheeled race car.

Audi Snook Futuristic Car Concept

Just for your information before you say “No” to this new Audi Snook concept, Audi Snook has won the Michelin Challenge Design Award 2008 at the Detroit Autoshow 2008. Designed by Tilmann Schlootz, German designer, this Snook concept is original and agile personal mobility vehicle that rides on a sphere.

Take a look at the multi-directional engine which consists of a sphere-wheel and enables the driver to navigate and steer the auto-stabilized cain in every direction. You’ll feel new driving experience, Audi Snook offers new maneuvers, fun driving, and satisfying the needs of future urban mobility.

Tilmann Schlootz describes his project: “The Magic Egg of Columbus, or better, two billard balls standing on each other: this icon is my origin on the way of reducing the hardware demands of physical mobility to the minimum.

One point touching the ground, the inverse pendulum in motion. Agility through instability, controlled by artificial intelligence – that is my formal issue.”

The concept model and designer Tilmann Schlootz will be present at the “Hannover Fair” (21-25 April 2008).

Audi Virtuea Quattro Concept

Audi tried to combine hydrogen-powered concept with artificial intelligent, one seat only, this car has the ability to drive by itself without any help from the driver. Skinned in chrome, the Virtuea Quattro is powered by hydrogen somehow (details apparently aren’t required for this thought experiment) and has the unique ability of displaying the holographic exterior of any car throughout history, though Audi would prefer if you made it look like the R8. Special thing about this car is the “brain” that has the ability to change its own hologram body, which mean, yes … you can change the car’s body just with a single push button, hologram only of course but still … very cool concept isn’t it ?

Smart Drive System With Big Knob

After BMW promoting their iDrive system, Audi introduced us with one of their own, the big knob seems like one device to control them all. Located near the driver, it was mend to make the driver easily control infotainment system without even looking. Its stylist design makes perfect combination with the luxury interior design (some of you might think what’s the point, we don’t see it anyway). So what do you think ?

Audi A2 in 2009 : More Space and Fuel-Efficient Cars, Watch Out BMW and Mercedes !

BMW and Mercedes would have to struggle for lower emissions and higher fuel efficiency. With European CAFE regulations, measured in tailpipe CO2 emissions rather than fuel economy, also getting much tighter, Germany’s luxury automakers, too, are feeling the heat from global warming. Even Audi which can average out its CO2 figures across the entire VW Group portfolia, feeling the pressure to build more fuel-efficient cars and smaller body.

Audi management has settled on a strategy of making its 2009 A2 a straightforward subcompact with mass appeal, rather than leftfield, like the Gen I aluminum A2. This would be key rival for BMW and Mercedes if they bring it to USA, since they offer more interior space than a Mini. The 2009 A2 won’t have a unique platform, but will use the VW subcompact underpinnings, like the Polo, with gasoline engines ranging from 1.2 to 1.8 liters, plus diesels.
