Elliot Cohen has submitted his latest project to Tuvie: Automatic Wine Opener and Foil Cutter. It’s an all-in-one electric wine opener that comes with built-in foil cutter where the foil cutter comes with pressure activated sensor that automatically cuts foil from the bottle. You can also use the electric corkscrew to easily remove synthetic or natural corks. This unit is covered with non-slip textures soft silicon for comfortable grip, the bottom part is also covered with silicone to prevent slip or scratch on counter tops. This wine opener comes with a rechargeable base, with a full charge battery, you can open up to 60 bottles of wine.
The good news is, it’s not just concept, it’s actually commercially available for you to buy. You can effortlessly remove the cork, simply place the left side over the bottle and press down to cut through the foil, then continue place the right side on the bottle and press down button to remove the cork. When the bottle is open, you can press up the button to remove the cork from opener. Now, you can pour the wine and enjoy a very good afternoon.
