Arctic Truck was a school team project of 4 months, the brief was to design a vehicle which will evolve in extreme cold environment and include a notion of camp. During the research, these designers focused on Arctic scientists specific need to make sure they could design a highly functional transportation. This approach allowed them to draw a package mixing the Ekranoplane architecture to the Trucks philosophy (the tractor and the cargo).
The concept vehicle is divided in three teams of two scientists. Each team is totally independent, but if they work near each other, they can come together and build a common basecamp. This camp is made of inflatable plastic and creating a fractal architecture, thus, allowing scientists to escape from the loneliness.
