The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with its 3.2” touchscreen has been officially unveiled after its sleek-looking predecessor X1. If you consider dimensions, the latest X2 is close to its previous version; however, it’s lighter than the X1. The X2 features a redesigned keypad just like that of a netbook and reveals by sliding out the upper portion. The 8.1 megapixel camera is one of the major upgrades of X2. The custom panel interfaces have been enriched with fourteen preloaded and sixteen more downloadable ones. Besides, it is the debut of Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system as default on a Sony Ericsson handset.

Usually, the slide-phones are designed in a way that they look closed when you see them first and when they open up, users can see a step as well as the sliding surface on the backside of the upper portion. TO2 is a marvelously designed sliding phone that looks like a slide-phone when it is closed and when it is open, the step or the sliding surfaces can’t be seen on its backside, giving an impression that it’s meant to be open. TO2 is designed in a black piano finish that gives it a classy look. Moreover, the giant display and the unique keypad give it a modern touch.

The Breathing Partition concept provides a sense of comfort with its natural office partitions, helping to generate an enjoyable and creative office environment. The unused space of the upper portion of these partitions contains flower pots to give the room a natural touch. Moreover, plants help creating a pleasant and livelier office environment by humidification and air purification. This partition system are available in both single and double unit and can be used in a particular office whichever is appropriate. The concept comprises an automatic watering system which is able to notice the need of water to the plants.

NASA Car Concept with No Door and Can Spin 360 degree

The new two-seater NASA concept car is surely an eye catcher not just for its unique and innovative design but also in its ability to spin 360 degree at the same spot. This beauty has been designed by Czech designer students Marek Kedzierski and Michal Vlèek and has no doors! The upper portion of the car just lifts up as we have in the cockpit, even the seats are placed in the same manner, and quite innovative must say! The upper portion also closed very slowly over the passengers and exactly fits around the neck and head restraints. So get set take it out for a spin quite literally with Nasa car concept!

W-styled Luxury Apartment in The Sky

Be it New York or Beijing, today luxury residences are on the upswing, the stylistic cues offered by W Hotels across the world has made it a regular as far as luxury accommodation is concerned soon, a new W-styled apartment is coming up at the south of the World Trade Center in New York City.

W Residents would be sharing the building with the hotel guests in the lower portion of Manhattan, but some of the luxury facilities like the rooftop terrace, fitness center and spa in the sky, will solely be for the permanently residents staying in the upper floors of the luxury tower.

The building’s façade is not merely about aesthetics, as the bands will also create shading from the daylight, deflect heat, guarantee every residence will have the highest degree of privacy, and simultaneously frame unparalleled views out across Manhattan.

The Loft Residences on the lower levels have a double-height living area that maximizes the light entering the space. The height of the great room continues on through a gallery where a white lacquered library wall ascends up into the second level.

The upper-tier City Residences feature integrated terraces off the main living areas, and all units are custom-fitted with B&B Italia kitchens and built-ins throughout. The master bathrooms feature a circular sliding wall that allows the bathroom to become part of the bedroom and share its spectacular city views.

And for those at the top, the five ultra-luxurious Sky Penthouses are unmatched in practically every aspect. Again, B&B Italia has masterfully crafted the space, including the kitchen. Sweeping views from every room, even the master bathroom, automatically heighten the occupants’ awareness of their place in the cityscape and the surrounding environment.
