During ancient times, people used to read time with there bare eyes by observing the position of the sun. Later on, through various developments, we are now using time devices to read the time change, but still our eyes are the key witness of the changing times. WITness is a concept timepiece that was built to demonstrate the unavoidable relationship between the eyes and the time. This device can be powered up by pressing the side buttons for 2 seconds and it will go back in standby mode automatically. Standby mode is designed to save energy by using only 35% of the LED power. It comprises a flexible bracelet type watchband and a quick locking system for easy and efficient wearing.

Louis Vuitton’s Tambour watch collection has enhanced with the adjoin of the Tambour Mysterieuse, a watch made of luxury gold and steel, but still in the immediately recognizable tambour drum outline, this completely mechanical watch deals in the horological magic stuff. Calibre LV115 is another addition in this series which has been developed, created and assembled in the workshop of this brand in Switzerland. As they say there is time for everything, a time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to throw, a time to keep… well keeping time has been one fad that man has always been trying to do. The invention of clocks is the resultant of that. The new clock design by Jansen Lye is sure an innovative one. All it has is needles, one long and one short. There is no number, nothing, and the time is determined by the position of the needles. The clock looks cool and is completely adaptable to any given environment. A very simple yet unique design.

The Rim is a unique timepiece. The hour and minute hands have been positioned on the outer edge of the clock face rather than the center, making it a distinctive looking product that imbues style on any space. It is by knowing and seeing the time that we schedule our day. The first we do in the morning is look at the time because of which we plan our day and come to know that how much time to spend in a particular work. We can do this because we can see the time with the help of our watches. But what about the people who are not as lucky as we are, the people who are blind.

Haptica is a movable Braille timepiece for the visually impaired, which enables the user to get a quick and accurate time reading while maintaining user discretion. Now one would think that many digital watches are available for this very purpose, but those watches annoy the user whereas when it comes to Haptica it allows the user to use it without drawing others attention.

In today’s world even the blind people are working in good positions and taking up challenges. Being not able to see the time doesn’t mean that time is not important for them, here we have brought an world best product for the people who do not give up to the negative situations faced in their life.

Opus 8 Mechanical-Digital Display Watch by Harry Winston

Limited edition of Opus 8 is using a futuristic technology yet with a cool looking retro style. The complicated system of mechanical pixels will rise up from the display to show you the time when you activate a mechanism on the side of the case. Look at the back of this watch, you’ll find a design resembling a printed circuit that functions as a second time display. AM and PM status are featured on the left, hours an minutes in the center, and a power reserve indicator is located on the right.

An exceptional and advanced timepiece, Opus 8 utilizes hand-wound mechanical movements to create a modern, digital time display. Inspired by pin art games, which create 3D impressions of objects pressed against them, the numbers in the display will only appear “upon request,” activated by a bolt on the right hand side of the case. Nothing appears until the mechanism is wound.

A plate joins together small segments, both mobile and fixed. Just underneath is a disc driven by the movement, which turns independently in real time. When the mechanism is wound, the pieces adjust to display the time. As the plate descends, the small segments remain visible, “blocked” by the crystal, allowing the hour to be read for 5 seconds. Technically, all functions are related, enabling everything to be displayed on demand – the minute hand turns the hour that then turns the AM/PM function.
