Audi Avatar 3-Seater Electric Supercar for 2032

The Audi Avatar is a 3-seater electric supercar concept specially designed for the drivers of 2032 to enjoy the pleasure of driving that they experienced playing racing games during their childhood days. The appearance of the car is much identical with the science fiction flying cars we used to watch. This futuristic car concept features 4 extremely powerful in-wheel electric motors powered by supercharge-ion batteries. The ultra lightweight aerodynamic body along with the powerful backend, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can achieve the top speed of over 360km/h with responsive handling.

Some explanation from Edwin :
The exterior desing of the car is inspired by the form of fabric blown in the wind. The form also carries traces of the historical Auto Union Type C Streamline race.

There are no conventional doors on the car, but instead, inspired by the jet fighters, there are three glass canopies. The main canopy opens forward together with the steering wheel and the dashboard; the two passengers’ canopies open backwards; and a side panel on the bodywork opens downwards to act as a step, making the event of getting in and out of the cockpit very special and easy.

The interior is simply one continuous sheet, starting from the dashboard, then being folded and bended to create floor carpet and seat.

The interior of the car is as simple and futuristic as the exterior. Single sheet transparent LCD dashboard displays all the essential data such as speed and mileage. The screen in the center of the steering wheel displays digital map. The information can also be projected on the canopy by a head up display. The
whole driving experience would be like flying a fighter jet. There is a small but handy luggage space behind the driver seat for handbags and suitcases. It is also an arm rest for the passengers.

Four wheels are housed inside the car’s four “legs”. Each wheel contains an Audi In-wheel Electric Drive Unit, making the car an evolution in Audi’s trademark “Quattro” all time four-wheel-drive system. The long range Supercharge-ion battery which powers the in-wheel motors are separated into two packs located in front of as well as behind the cockpit, creating a perfect 50:50 weight distribution of the car for excellent handling.

Pholeum Transportation Unit with Efficient Next Generation Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology

The idea of Pholeum transportation unit concept is based on the living cell tissue structure of a plant that can carry organic nutrients to any part of the plant where required. This vehicle has been designed as a personal mobility unit based on an ideal transportation means for mega-cities, which has made riding this eco-friendly car just equivalent to a bike down the street.

The minimalist interior features control steering pod, a mimicking game like control where brake and gas paddles embedded close to the steering wheel, offering next generation driving environment. The wheels are fully immersed with rubberized tire with independent spoke arrangement that allows the wheels to absorb the road bumps without having used the suspensions. Moreover, the out of the body wheel base has added few extra with the innovative look that the car already has with its clear body shell and green house like design.

The technology aspect of Pholeum includes a composition of memory plastic body work, allowing the material to be deformed back to its original shape under application of heat from scratches and dents. These plastic can be recycled further and remolded again into the same component if the damage is irreparable. The chassis is made of durable aluminum alloy, making the vehicle strong and lightweight. Comprehensive safety for the driver has been ensured with three external airbags, designed to deploy by sensing a fast automobile within a few meters of its radius through motion sensors. Each wheel contains quad electric motors empowered with efficient next generation hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Tri.on Remote Controlled Robot To Help Fire Brigades

Tri.on is a remote controlled robot concept specially designed to be used by the fire brigades or disaster control unit. The main inspiration of this concept came from the drive of generating something that can substitute a human being under tremendously dangerous conditions. Tri.on robot features four wheel shaped rolling tires, each with 3 inner wheels to make the tires roll, allowing the robot to run over any sorts of uneven surfaces such as stairs. It has two hands that can move in any direction and two holders in the end of the hands that provides strong grip when picking up an object.

The tasks of “Tri.On”:
- evaluation of potential dangers by means of various sensors
- taking samples of dangerous substances for further analysis
- precautions to avoid the spreading of dangerous substances, for example sealing leaks or depressurization of containers.

In order to accomplish these tasks, Tri.On is equipped with state of the art sensors. In addition, the robot has stowage for up to three tools in it`s torso.

CCC : Transform Your Car Into A Helicopter

The CCC is a fascinating and futuristic concept car which is an ultimate solution for eventful city use with its compact design and mostly, the ability to transforming into a fully operational helicopter. When in the car mode, it is a three wheeled vehicle with 2 giant front wheels and one small rear wheel, which works as tail rotor when it transforms into copter mode. The blades remain folded hidden in car mode and can eventually pop out when required. The entrance is designed from the front through a pop up glass door and no passengers other than the driver are allowed to board on this single seater car-copter. The cockpit has a sphere at the driver’s right arm to control the CCC.

Modular Recycle Bin by Dave Strydom

Although the Modular Recycling Bin is designed in a traditional and simple shape, it still offers the user a wide range of modern and necessary functions. Recycled materials have been used to produce the bin and the most wonderful feature is its three adjustable interior compartments. These compartments are made of plastic, glass and tin, and acts like a water bladder that can change size according to the inserted items in the individual compartments. Other noteworthy features of this bean are large wheels, extend-able handles, step-to-open lid, interior rinse function, extend-able interior space and forth slot for recycling cardboard. Many of the current recycling problems will be solved through this cool stuff.

Muecke Single Seater LightWeight Helicopter

The Muecke, name driven from mosquito, is a concept single seater easily transportable lightweight helicopter which is actually a combination of lower weight and fewer flying costs. The design comprises three stands instead of wheels to balance the chopper when grounded and a short tail without the conventional rotor. This small chopper will meet the need of ultimate personal aviation, proposed to be powered through a turbine driven by the shaft and features counter rotating blades. Therefore, a tail rotor is no longer required for this chopper to change directions; rather it utilizes the movable paddles at the tilt of the rotor blades. With the production of this helicopter, the recreational aviation market surely will boost up to an extraordinary level.

Cherry Electric Transportation Design with Carbon-Fiber Plastic Body

Cherry is an innovative way of transportation concept which is neither a bike nor a bicycle but still can offer the similar functionality with more facilities. Inspired by the natural shape of Cherry, the front part of this concept is bigger since this is the motion producing part and the rear part is at the minimum dimensions which results comfortable ride and lighter and smarter outlook. This vehicle will offer you less energy requirement, strong performance, balance of three wheels, pleasure of motorcycle, adjustable driving position and customizable parts. It will provide you reduced maintenance cost because of the few and simple parts and zero emission and no pollution due to the plug-in batteries and electric motor.

Cherry will offer easy control using the throttle and the break lever and requires very small place to park. By using lightweight elements such as small battery and carbon-fiber plastic body, this vehicle weights around 40kg or less only and can be carried anywhere easily. The high torque of the electric motor, lightweight design and strong grip via three wheel drive has made it a big performance vehicle. The designer envisioned this vehicle as a transportation solution for every person in future world when space-efficiency would be one of the biggest concerns among mankind.

The concept of Robot taxis include two seats and three wheels and have designed to ensure smooth public transportation system forever. This slick and compact robot taxis are very much look like a crane driver’s cab with only one uplifting door for passenger entry. These taxis will be available over the city and all of them will be always synchronized and aware of each other’s position. Passengers can jump in any of them at any place or pick the phone and order one, and reach their desired destination in no time. The vehicle concept vehicle by Alex Hodge is surely an eye candy. This single-seater vehicle is something that suits today’s urban needs. The beauty named ‘Hawk’ is powered by Honda RC51 V-Twin 999cc engine has a top speed of 233 kilometers per hour and has three 19inch lightweight alloy wheels to support it which are in turn equipped with both rear and front disc brakes so its best of both worlds be it driving in the fast lane or stopping in a hurry. sTrike : Sustainable Transport Vehicle by Stefano Marchetto

This new innovative concept design by the Milan based Italian Industrial design student Stefano Marchetto can be said to be a nice practical thought. The name given to this ecologically sustainable transport vehicle is called sTrike and just like the name it is surely striking. In these times when everyone is fighting for the parking space, this practical three wheel concept takes care of lot of these problems. The frontal movement of the vehicle is with the help of the pedals just as in bicycle and the cocoon design on top ensures that the rider is safe in case of a collision. Thus it’s a safe and environment friendly city transportation vehicle.
